Adding a New Contact

  1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts > Contacts > Add .
  2. Touch to select a location for the contact. For this article, Google will be selected.

    Note: If no accounts have been setup on the device, the default save location is Phone and the prompt below will not be seen.

  1. Touch the Given name and Last name fields then enter a name for the contact. After entering a last name touch to enter a Name prefix, Middle name, Name suffix, Phonetic given name, Phonetic middle name, and/or Phonetic family name.
  2. Touch the image icon and select a photo for this contact. Selections are: Gallery, or Take photo.

  3. Touch Phone number to enter a phone number. Touch the label button to choose a label from Home, Mobile, Work , Work Fax, Home Fax , Pager, Other, Custom (to create a custom label).
    • To add multiple points of contact, touch the Plus button . To remove a point of contact, touch the Minus button .

  1. Touch Internet call to enter an Internet voice call address. [To make Internet calls you need a VoIP (Voice over IP) account. For more information, contact your Wireless Provider.]
  2. Touch Email address to enter an email address. Touch the label button to choose a label from Home, Work, Other, or Custom to create a custom label.
    • To add address, touch the Plus button . To remove an address, touch the Minus button .

  1. Enter additional information as needed: IM, Groups, Ringtone, Postal address, Organization or More.
  2. Touch Save to complete and store the new entry.

Update a Contact

To make changes to an existing contact.

  1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts .
  2. Touch a contact to view its information, then press the Menu button > Edit contact.

Touch and hold on a contact, then select Edit from the pop-up menu.

  1. After editing the contact information touch Save to keep the changes.

Creating or Updating Contacts from Call log

  1. From the Home screen, touch Phone > Logs .
  2. Touch and hold on a call record, then select Add to contacts from the pop-up menu.
  3. Select Create contact or Update existing. Continue to enter contact information as required.

Delete a Contact

Delete a Single Contact

  1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts .
  2. Scroll up and down to locate the desired contact and then touch and hold on the name for about 2 seconds.
  3. Touch Delete from the pop-up menu, then touch OK to delete.

Delete Multiple Contact

  1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts .
  2. Press the Menu button > Delete.
  3. Touch the contacts to be deleted, a check mark appears next to the select contact.
  4. Touch Delete, then OK to delete.

Send namecard

Sending a Namecard

You can send a contacts information as a namecard as an email attachment, message or over Bluetooth to other Bluetooth devices.

Important: Not all Bluetooth devices will accept contacts, and not all devices support transfers of multiple contacts. Check the target device's documentation.

  1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts .
  2. Touch a contact to display its information.
  3. Press the Menu button > Send namecard via.

  4. At the prompt, choose a sending method, then follow the prompts to send the namecard.

Sending Multiple Contacts

  1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts > press the Menu button > More > Import/Export > Send namecard via.
  2. Touch contacts to mark them for sending, or touch Select all to mark all contacts. a check mark appears next to the select contact.
  3. Touch Send, choose a sending method, then follow the prompts to send the namecard.
