How it works?
  • Trade-In Device

    Select the eligible device you wish to trade-in from the drop down list and receive an estimated trade-in value.

  • Device condition

    Indicate the condition of your Existing Device, and confirm your identity and the applicable Security Charge by answering a few questions.

  • Redeem your trade-in value

    Your trade-in value and any applicable trade-up bonus credit is applied to your cart.

  • Return your old device

    You will be sent an email with an eParcel label and instructions on how to send in your device. You must send in your device once you receive your New Samsung Device within the timeframe advised to you.

Samsung Trade-In Online: You must send in your trade-in device within seven (7) days of receiving your New Samsung Device. A refund of the Security Charge will be processed within twenty-one (21) days following receipt of your trade-in device and the successful completion of Asurion’s assessment process. If Asurion determines that a Mis-Grading Device Fee applies, you will be given the option to either accept the Mis-Grading Device Fee or have your device returned.  A Late Return Fee of up to $60 will be charged if you have not sent in your trade-in device within fourteen (14) days of receiving your New Samsung Device. The Security Charge, Late Return Fee and any other applicable fees relating to Samsung Trade-In will be processed by our third-party provider, Asurion.

Please ensure that you back up any personal information, photos, files and other data which you have stored on the Existing Device, and remove the sim card and memory cards before providing the Existing Device to us. Samsung will not be responsible for any loss, recovery or compromise of data, software, programs or other information contained on your Existing Device.

What next?

  • Grade your device

    We will ask you some simple questions on the condition of the device you are trading in. Don’t stress if you are not sure, we will confirm the device’s condition when you send it in, but please answer as honestly as you can.

    Purchase your new device

    Purchase your New Samsung Device through Samsung.com with your trade-in credit. Upon confirmation, a Security Charge (being an amount equal to the Estimated trade-in value received for the trade-in device) will be placed on your account which will be refunded to you once you have returned your Existing Device when you receive your New Samsung Device.

  • Tell us about yourself

    Confirm your identity and details by answering a few questions.

  • Purchase your new device

    Purchase your New Samsung Device through Samsung.com with your trade-in credit. Upon confirmation, a Security Charge (being an amount equal to the Estimated trade-in value received for the trade-in device) will be placed on your account which will be refunded to you once you have returned your Existing Device when you receive your New Samsung Device.
