FAQs

  • How is b.IoT installed?

b.IoT is a software installed on a server or PC located in the building's control room. It is connected to the same network as the building's various facilities, enabling centralized monitoring and control of these systems.
  • b.IoT is typically installed on the building's internal network (closed network), which means it cannot be accessed from outside. While remote access may be possible using separate network security systems or remote access programs, it is not recommended.
  • Since b.IoT provides a web-based dashboard, it is possible to access it from a mobile device if the device is connected to the internal network. However, b.IoT does not offer a dedicated mobile resolution and some features may be limited in mobile web browsers. Therefore, using it in a PC environment is recommended.
  • For integrated control of home appliances, we recommend using the SmartThings Pro solution.
  • Yes, it is possible. However, only basic control functions are available and advanced features such as AI-based energy-saving algorithms, which are available for Samsung system air conditioners, cannot be used.
