The Insiders

I found this monitor incredibly easy to unbox and set up right out of the box. Attaching it to my computer was seamless, and I was able to get started with multimedia content almost instantly. The screen quality and depth are absolutely stunning for videos and daily use.

My only real complaint is the layout of the input ports. I did find it quite difficult to attach my HDMI and video cables because of the angle. You have to physically lift up or awkwardly tilt the monitor to push the cables straight up into the ports, which isn't very convenient.

Overall, it is a premium multimedia display that performs beautifully once everything is plugged in, but the cable management process could be more user-friendly.

A great OLED Video Multipurpose Monitor

I recently had the opportunity to test the new Samsung G70SH 27” 4K OLED gaming monitor. The G70SH has a beautiful panel that looks awesome when watching 4k content. I watched a few 4k shows and was impressed with the overall picture quality. One of the best features of the monitor is how lightweight it is, and the monitor stand doesn’t take up too much desk space. I connected several devices to see how the monitor would perform. I connected my Samsung Phone, my laptop, and my gaming PC. My devices were able to connect without any issues, and I was able to switch inputs quickly when viewing content from secondary sources.
When using the monitor for work, I can say that the text and images looked fantastic. On the gaming front, the G70SH exceeded my expectations. My graphics card is not beefy enough to take full advantage of the 4K resolution at 165Hz refresh rate but I was able to lower the in-game settings to achieve pretty close results. All in all, I have no complaints when it comes to the Samsung G70SH monitor. The response time and refresh rate for a 4K panel is perfect for my needs. I really like the Samsung G70SH and recommend this monitor for work and play.

4K Glory

To say I'm impressed by this product is a complete understatement. This monitor is spectacular through and through. The specs speak for themselves, however, using this monitor now for both work and gaming purposes I will never go back to anything lesser than this. The quality is clear straight out of the packagine, the performance and refresh rate is just amazing. I am so thrilled with this monitor. I would highly, highly recommend this. I'm so impressed! I've played several high performing games such as Tarkov, Wardogs, destiny 2 and dead by daylight and several of those game require precision and skill to see enemies on the map and this monitor provided just that. I couldn't believe how clear the screen looks and lightning speed with no latency or lag. I also use this for work purposes and I love how large the screen is, I can easily multi task for work now with multiple tabs and programs open with ease!

By far the best monitor I've ever used!

Woah!!!

This was my response when I booted the Samsung OLED G7 up next to my other monitor. The colors just POP!!! This is my first experience with a flagship OLED panel and I wasn't sure what to expect but I am very impressed with this display. I use my PC for photo editing, gaming and general web surfing. This display makes each of these tasks better.

Photography and photo editing is a passion of mine and my pictures have never looked as good as they do on this Samsung OLED G7. Colors are vibrant and blacks are truly black, not the muted dark grey that we kid ourselves into thinking is black. In the few short days that I've owned this monitor, I have re edited some of my favorite pics and they look more alive and less processed.

As far as gaming goes, I ran "No Man's Sky" and the graphics look spectacular. Exploring space looks better than ever and the display can handle everything my graphics card sends it.

This OLED panel looks so good that I've ordered a 4k streaming stick to turn this into a secondary 4K streaming platform. I'm looking forward to having a peak quality screen for streaming in my home office.

Woah!!

The Samsung OLED G7 is one of the best monitors I've ever owned. the blacks are like really black like true blacks it's crazy how much of a difference it makes and things like video games and movies the immersion is real. And the quality of this monitor is top-notch and the colors are really vibrant as well since this is a OLED monitor. Another thing I love about this monitor is the anti-glare or anti-reflection coating on the screen it makes a huge difference in the viewing experience and also makes the colors look way better even in bright lights like room lights. Something else I love about this monitor is the OLED burning safety features I love the fact that if I have a static wallpaper and there's a logo or words on the screen it will dim that part of the screen where the logo or the words is to prevent burning. And also this monitor is fast and responsive at 165hz it's perfect for everyday needs from working to gaming.
My verdict on this monitor I love it and now that I have switched to a OLED monitor ,I can never go back and I'm glad this one was the one that made me open my eyes to what I've been missing out on

One of the best oled monitors on the market

The Samsung 27" Odyssey OLED G7 G70SH monitor can be a stunning display but it really depends on the viewing environment due to the extremely strong matte finish. The monitor coating is anti-reflective and cuts down reflections from room light sources. It is very aggressive about spreading stray light across the entirety of the screen. Unfortunately, this can produce a purplish tint and raise the black levels and lowers the perceived contrast of the image. Still, the monitor is plenty bright and still looks very good.

When the monitor is used in a dark room, the colors are extremely vibrant and the blacks are dark and inky (the way you would expect an OLED to look). I tested this monitor with both Mac and PC and found colors to be very accurate. The 4k display looks very sharp and the image looks very good.

The physical design of the monitor itself looks great with a tapered back that makes the edges look very thin and sleek. It is also the lightest monitor I've ever setup and picking up the monitor and moving it around is effortless.

HDR content looks stunning on the monitor and I love how the colors pop. The fast refresh rate makes gaming look very smooth and fluid while making regular desktop work feel faster.

Overall, I'm very happy with the G70SH as it excels in both productivity and gaming while remaining very color accurate.

Gorgeous in the Dark

the brightness is amazing it's nice and bright I can see all the nice colors and contrast between it's very vibrant on the refresh rate is amazing I don't see any drops in my FPS when I'm playing video games the responsiveness when I'm using my keyboard and mouse is very quick and easy I don't see any lags anything like that the goat thing is really great as well

Amazing screen

The brightness and contrast is amazing! The ones really makes things on the screen pop. The responsiveness is very good too and a lot of screens I have tried dont have things like that.
