It is handy to have this Accessory instead of installing a filter that is not going to be needed when we have water purification system in the house.

Great idea

Christian

This is outright extortion. Requiring customers to pay in order to not use a feature of the fridge because they don’t want to spend additional dollars on a filter. Ridiculous. Will never purchase Samsung products again.

Extortion

I have not been able to find this part anywhere. I spent two hours on the phone with samsung and they sent me a dead link and indicated it is the nly available from resellers. But resellers dont have it. Any help
On where to purchase would be appreciated.

Part not available haf-din/exp

This is just Samsung’s way to get more money from you on an already high priced family hub refrigerator. Last year, the refrigerators included a bypass if you have a reverse osmosis water system, and don’t need a filter. This year they took the automatic bypass out and require you to spend $50. It’s a piece of plastic. They charge as much as a full filter. It’s sad I bought a full set of Samsung appliances bespoke series. I feel cheated. Oh, by the way, if you don’t want to spend $50 every six months on a new filter, We are going to do one last gouge and take $50 for a plastic plug. Shirt and only cost us less than a dollar… But we care more about money than we do customer satisfaction.

Extortion for a piece of plastic.
