Failed after only 14TB Written. Not bootable anymore. I hope I can still copy the data to another SSD
First 980 PRO dies within a few months of use. Just died with no warnings. I bit the bullet and purchased another one. Second 980 Pro is now showing bad sectors, and fails to even perform the SMART short test using their own software. Tried to get Warranty service for now 2 bad SSDs and the website doesn't even allow it. I regret not going with WD drives.

Very smooth, fast, and dependable. No BSOD'S No firmware issues on all ststem boards I've used one on.
I've had this drive installed on my daily HP Pavilion laptop since 2022 and it has not had any issues. I've experienced lesser drives that have failed in significantly shorter time. It's worth a little extra money for a quality product such as this 980 Pro. This 980 Pro has performed so well that I'm considering purchasing the 990 Pro to max out my laptop's PCIe 4.0 interface. That or get a new Samsung laptop. Either way, my S.M.A.R.T. data reports a "Good" status in every category. It's rated for 5 years or 600 Terabytes W...
Brought this couple years ago for my Ps5. Had to look up this problem I'm having and Im not the only one with this problem. I go to play my Playstation. Turn it on. Im thinking there was an outage. My system reset and then went to repairing my SSD. Been trying to fix it and all even safe mode. Nothing worked. Really disappointed! Im still a Samsung fanboy but this has no fix and stays at 13% and thats it. Have to turn the system off. Just blows.

It greatly affected the performance of my computer and helped with memory.
Since game console makers can't seem to come to grips with the fact that their sames take up so much memory and that they, for reasons unknown, still insist on releasing systems with only enough memory to store 3 games on (War Zone, Cold War and Vanguard) them...wanna play the new Resident Evil Village? Too bad because you can't...wait a minute! Yes you can! With the samsung - 980 PRO PCIe ® 4.0 NVMe™ SSD 1TB you can increase that measly manufacturer supplied memory and store more games than the console itself does ND with zero lag, zero overheating and amazing performance! I give it all the stars and only wish I had b...
