What to do before using the Samsung Members app

Ready to unlock content for your Samsung device and use diagnostic tools to help speed up your phone? You will need to create a Samsung account before you can use these features and more in the Samsung Members app. Do not worry, creating an account is simple. And if you already have an account, you are good to go and can start using the app!

Create an account using the Samsung website

Note: You will be prompted to sign in to your Samsung account when you open Samsung Members for the first time. Refer to the next section to learn how to make an account through the app.

Creating a Samsung account is the fastest way to get access to exclusive Samsung services and special features – including the Samsung Members app. Here's how to do it from the Samsung website:

1 Navigate to the Samsung account page on a web browser, and then select Create account.

2 Review the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Services, and Privacy Policy. Then, select Agree.

3 Enter your personal information, and then select Next.

4 Next, you will need to verify your email. A verification code will be sent to the email you entered.

5 Check your email's inbox for the verification email. When you receive it, enter the provided code in to the Samsung website and select Next.

6 If the code is correct, your account will be created! Select Done to continue.

7 You will be given the option to set up two-step verification. Select Set up or Not now, and follow the on-screen instructions if needed.

8 Once everything is complete, you can start exploring the Samsung Members app.

Create an account using the Samsung Members app

Note: You can also create your account using the Samsung Members app. If the app is not already installed on your device, you can download it from the Play Store.

1 Navigate to and open the Samsung Members app, and then tap the Community tab.

2 Tap Create account under Sign in to your Samsung account.

3 Review the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Services, and Privacy Policy. Then, tap Agree.

4 Enter your personal information, and then tap Create account.

5 Next, verify your phone number by selecting your country and then entering your phone number. Tap Send to send a code to your phone.

6 Check your phone for a code, and then enter it by following the prompts. Tap Verify.

Note: You can also choose to skip two-step verification on your device.

7 Finally, verify your email address. Tap Go to inbox and then sign in to your email account if needed.

8 Open the Samsung account email, and then select Verify account.

9 You are finished! You can now enjoy the Samsung Members app.
