HP Z Series Workstations optimized with Samsung SSD Technology visit

Samsung's extremely popular XP941 delivers a level of responsiveness that easily surpasses SSDs with a SATA 6Gb/s interface.

The XP941 solid state drive, featuring a PCIe 2.0 interface, reads sequentially at 1,400MB/s (megabytes per second). This allows the drive to read 500GB of data or 10 HD movies (approximately 5GBs in length) in just 36 seconds. That's about 6 times faster than a hard disk drive, and more than 2.5 times faster than the fastest SATA SSD.
The XP941, whose technology is used in the HP Z Turbo Drive, is available in a M.2 form factor (80mm x 22mm), and weighs just six grams – about one-ninth the weight of a 2.5 inch SSD. Also, the XP941's overall volume is about a seventh of that of a 2.5 inch SSD, freeing up more space for the notebook battery and opening the door for increased mobility to enhance the user experience.
