How to record, edit and share videos in 8K with your Galaxy device
8K resolution offers incredible video quality and with galaxy devices you can record, edit and share your 8K videos quickly and easily.
Please note: 8K video recording is not available on all Galaxy devices.
How to record in 8K video resolution
Step 1. Open Camera.
Step 2. Tap “Video” or “Pro Video”.
Step 3. Tap the resolution icon to select the required video resolution.
Step 4. With the resolution selected tap to select Frame rate.
Step 5. Whilst recording with the resolution and frame rate set, you can also tap Frame Capture button to capture an image from your video.
Step 6. When finished recording, open the Gallery app and select the video.
Tap to play the selected video and whilst the video is playing you can tap the Capture Icon to capture a high-resolution photo.

How to change the resolution of a recorded video
Step 1. Open Gallery and select a video.
Step 2. Tap the Edit button.
Step 3. To adjust the video resolution, tap More options.
Step 4. Tap “Size and format”.
Step 5. Tap to select the required video resolution.
Step 6. When finished editing tap Save to complete.
Your video will now be saved and made available in Gallery.
Please note: Large file sizes or high-resolution videos may take a few minutes to save.
How to Share an 8K video
Step 1. Open Gallery and select a video to share.
Step 2. Tap Share icon.
Step 3. Select an option to share.
