What you have to do

When purchasing your new Samsung QLED or UHD TV please speak to your chosen retailer to determine their procedure about the disposal of your 32” or above TV that you are trading in. Each retailer will have specific procedures to follow.

Once you have purchased your new Samsung QLED or UHD TV, you are eligible to redeem the Upgrade Value
Please note: You must wait 30 days from the date of purchase before claiming - the date of purchase counts as day 1. Claims must be submitted no sooner than 30 days and no later than 60 days from the date of purchase as indicated on your invoice or receipt. You will receive your payment within 30 days after your claim has been validated. You will also need to state the brand, size and approximate age of your old TV in order to complete your claim.

Q. How do I know if my retailer is taking part in the promotion?

A. Check with your chosen retailer that they are taking part in the promotion.

Q. How do I send in or take back my old television and how should it be packaged?

A. Check with your chosen retailer before you take in your old 32” or above TV at the time of purchase and for online purchases please discuss return of the TV and how to package it with your chosen retailer.

Q. How long do I have to submit my online claim after making my qualifying purchase?

A. Please go online to claim at www.samsung.com/uk/tvupgrade and follow procedure after 30 days from your date of purchase - the date of purchase counts as day 1. Claims must be submitted no sooner than 30 days and no later than 60 days from your date of purchase as indicated on your invoice or receipt.

Q. How do I prepare my purchase receipt so I can upload it during the claim form process?

A. During the online claim process you will be asked to upload your purchase receipt. If you purchased online your purchase invoice or receipt will be emailed to you. Please take a screen shot of the purchase invoice or receipt and paste it into Microsoft Word (save as PDF) or Microsoft Paint (save as JPEG). If you have a physical copy of the purchase invoice or receipt you can either: Take a photo of it on your smartphone, tablet or digital camera and transfer it to the computer you are claiming from or scan it into your computer using a scanner.

Q. How will I know if my claim is valid?

A. Once you have completed your online claim, you will be kept up to date of your claim progress via email or text.

Q. How long will it take to receive my payment?

A. You will receive a confirmation email within 2 working days if your claim has been approved. You will then receive payment with 30 days once your claim has been approved.

Q. How many times can I participate in the promotion?

A. A maximum of 1 Trade Up redemption is available per qualifying Promotion Product purchased.

Participants who purchase a new (i.e. not second hand) qualifying Samsung TV from the list of eligible models (Promotion Product) either in store or online from a Participating Retailer (Participating Retailer) between 1.06.17 – 15.08.17 will be eligible to trade in a TV (Trade Up TV) to receive an Upgrade Reward (Upgrade Reward). The Trade Up TV must be complete and undamaged with a screen size of 32” or more and the Upgrade Reward will vary depending on the Promotion Product purchased. Participants must take the Trade Up TV to the Participating Retailer at the same time as they purchase the Promotion Product (for in-store purchases) or must liaise with the Participating Retailer to arrange the return of the Trade Up TV (for online purchases). To claim their Upgrade Reward, Participants must then go to www.samsung.com/ie/tvupgrade, complete the online claim form, submit a copy of their proof of purchase and provide details of their Trade Up TV. Claims may only be submitted between 30 and 60 days from the date of purchase of the Promotion Product, meaning the final claim date for a Promotion Product purchased on 15.08.17 is 13.10.17. Only 1 Upgrade Reward may be claimed per Promotion Product purchased.
