Why does Door latch in the washing machine seems loose?

● If the door latch seems loose, this is normal. Do NOT set up for service.
● The door latch is designed to make it always moving, so the locking mechanism in the washer chassis can properly grab the latch.
● If the latch were rigid, the lock mechanism would not grab the latch properly and cause error code DE .
