What is Air Command?

 Air command is a menu that provides S Pen features and quick access to frequently used applications like Live Messages, Magnify, PENUP and Translate. To access the Air command panel, simply detach the S Pen from the slot or hover the S Pen over the screen and press the S Pen button. You can also tap  with your S Pen. Drag your S Pen up and down on the Air command panel and select a function or app you want. When the Air command panel is closed, the Air command icon will remain on the screen. You can open the Air command panel by tapping the icon with the S Pen. To move the icon, drag to a new location.

 

To remove icon from your homescreen, simply drag the icon with your S Pen to located at the top of the screen. If in the future you decide you want the floating icon to appear on your homescreen head into your Settings → Advanced Features → S Pen → toggle on Floating icon.

1 When you take out your S Pen, Air Command will automatically launch.

If you haven't filled up your Shortcuts list, tap on the Shortcut Icon with your S Pen.

2 With your S Pen, drag your preferred application or feature into the shortcut list.

To remove a shortcut simply tap the Minus icon button.

3 If your shortcut list is full and you are unable to locate or select the add shortcut icon , you will then need to long press an app you no longer wish to use and drag to the Remove icon button using your S Pen.

Create notes easily in a pop-up window without launching the Samsung Notes app.

1 Pull out your S Pen and select Create Note

2 Using your S Pen you will be able write up quick To-do lists that will automatically be saved in Samsung Notes

 Allows you to select a wide range of colours, sizes and select between pens, pencils & highlighters to brighten up your notes.

 Rub out any mistakes and start all over again.

  Allows you to undo your most recent action.

  You will be able to adjust the Transparency of your note.

Once you have completed your Note, simply tap on Save to upload to your Samsung Notes.

Allows you to crop a certain area displayed on your device for you to customise.

1 Pull out your S Pen and select Smart Select

2 Select your preferred action and drag the S Pen over your screen to capture content.
Using Smart Select

 Rectangle - Select a large area to Extract Text or Pin to the Screen.

 Lasso allows more freedom than the Rectangle as you are able to draw more freely to capture more texts or images.

 Oval allows you to extract texts within the selected circular outline.

 GIF allows you to create High Quality or Standard Quality GIFs.

 Pin allows you to resize a particular area and Pin to your screen.

Capture screenshots to write or draw on them or crop an area from the captured image. You can also capture the current content and the hidden content on an elongated page, such as a webpage.

2 Your phone will capture a screenshot on the current screen and then write or colour in areas within that screenshot.

 Select between a range of pens, pencils, paint brushes and highlighters to write over your screen.

 Choose the preloaded colours or tap on the colour wheel to change the colour of your pen.

 Select out of 5 different pen sizes.

Write a message or draw a picture to record your actions as an animation.

2 Choose your preferred Background and backround colour.

Once complete, tap on Start drawing

3 Using your S Pen, start creating your Live Message.

 Choose from 6 different pen effects.

  Select your preferred preloaded colour or choose from the colour wheel.

  Allows you to increase or decrease your pen thickness.

  Removes your most recent action/drawing.

  Wipes your Live Message so you can start fresh.

  Plays back your GIF or MP4.

4 Once complete tap on Done

Select source and target language and then hover the S-Pen over the desired text for it to translate.

Write on your Calendar to make those special events or birthdays pop out so you'll never miss any assignment deadlines or anniversaries.

1 Tap on Translate

2 Using your S Pen, start drawing on your calendar.

Once complete tap on Save

 Customise your Pen type, size and colour.

  Erase any mistakes using the Eraser tool.

  Undo your most recent action.
