Update your software

To get the Galaxy AI features, make sure your device's software is updated to the latest version. You may receive a pop-up on your phone prompting you to download and install the update or you can update your mobile device's software manually by following these steps:


Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Question 1. Why is the Live Translate function not visible on the cover screen of the Galaxy Flip5 during calls?

The Live Translates function is designed to facilitate communication across different languages by providing real-time translation for phone calls and text messages. However, due to space limitations on the cover screen of the Flip5 device, real-time translation is terminated when folding the device during calls. Consequently, the Live Translate function is not visible on the cover screen during calls.

Solution:

To address this issue, unfold your Galaxy Z Flip5 and run the Live Translate on the main screen. This will allow you to resume translation during calls without interruptions.

Are you facing difficulties with the Circle to Search function on your Galaxy Z Fold5? Here's what you need to know:

Question 1: When using the Circle to Search, the running apps unexpectedly close when folding or unfolding the Galaxy Z Fold5 device.

Question2. When using Circle to Search on the cover screen, it displays a message indicating that screen search isn't available when unfolding the phone.

Solution:

Some functions, such as maintaining running apps when folding or unfolding, may not work correctly with the Circle to Search feature introduced in the One UI 6.1 software update for the Galaxy Z Fold5.

Ensure your Google app is up to date via the Google Play Store. The app developer (Google) is actively working on improving compatibility with the Circle to Search feature. 

Keeping your app updated can help address these issues and ensure smoother experience.

Question: When I try to search in the Google app, Generative AI results are not displayed

Google server-side services provide Google’s SGE (Search Generative Experience) function. Currently, this function is not supported on  Galaxy Z Fold5, and Tab S9 series models yet

Google is actively working on adding support for these models. Stay tuned for updates from Google, as further models will be included for support soon.
