Samsung’s logic facilities have eco-friendly practices aimed at eliminating the use of hazardous materials. In addition, Samsung continually advances its process technology to shrink die size and cut power needs. Samsung is well known in the industry for its innovative low power technologies.

Increased battery life

Examples abound throughout Samsung’s logic product lines of semiconductors engineered to increase battery life by cutting power usage. The S5PC100 mobile processor supports functions including navigation, portable gaming, wireless, camera functions and mobile tv while consuming low amounts of power. In addition, 65nm SoC products with integrated low-power technology are used in emerging “smart meter” devices that monitor energy consumption.
