Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra

I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted something different from the usual phones. I’ve always liked having a big screen, but I didn’t want to carry a phone and a tablet separately. With this phone, I get the best of both in one device. What I enjoy the most is opening it up and having that huge screen right in my hands. Watching videos, checking messages, browsing the internet, and using multiple apps at the same time feels so much better. I also really like the premium look and feel of the phone—it feels special every time I use it. For me, the Fold 8 Ultra is more than just a phone. It’s convenient, powerful, and fun to use. I’m really happy with my choice, and honestly, after getting used to the Fold, it would be hard for me to go back to a regular phone.

I Chose to upgrade to the Z fold 8 Ultra, from the fold 6. I like the slightly larger size when closed is just right ( I have small hands ) . I like the larger screen when opened as well ; Noticeable when multitasking. The Thinness and weight is great. I've noticed the better battery life and there seem to be more mag safe Cases Available for this model than for the Z fold 6. Better Cameras - Good. What I don't like is no SPen support And the front Cameras on the outside and inside screens are not hidden - Why? Overall : I'm Glad I choose to upgrade. Thank you.

I Chose samsung for there quality products always buttons is my first foldable. And I have to say I love it, I went from the S22 which was a fantastic phone I never had an issue with. But the phone is a beast, it easily handle my daily needs as my daily phone calls and texts etc. And I also use it for gaming my primary game is fortnite which it handles without a problem I use it with a wireless controller and the its like a mini tablet. I have had some pretty serous sessions and it has never missed a beat never slowed down once I love it. I also use it on the go to strem movies and it excels at that too I'm telling you this thing is the percent phone you have to get one. I have the 256gb which for me is perfect.

Finally, I chose the Z Fold8 ultra - and I won't be going back to a candy bar! Since the Note2, I've had the largest phones Samsung has had on offer. After the z fold7 came out, I knew the technology was mature enough, so I traded my S25 Ultra in for the Z fold8 ultra. I work in the action film industry and shoot and present video constantly. The pro mode video looks amazing and applying the LUT after shooting log is so simple. The cover screen makes shooting self-tapes so much easier (especially paired with my galaxy watch ultra). I've also been able to pull up spreadsheets on the big inner screen very easily. The battery has not been a complaint at all! There are a few apps that could use the additional real estate more effectively, but I know that will only be a matter of time.

I've been using Galaxy phones for a large chunk of my "professional phone user" career. Always solid devices, OSs, features that only Galaxy phones have brought to the public. But I have been waiting for a real step up in evolution when it comes to my device. So I chose to step up and achieve that goal by activating my new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. I chose to finally have my first foldable. This phone challenges me, in creative ways, that have transformed my daily device usage and how I can interact with the fold features. What has been great is that, this phone is intuitive and usually understands and helps you find what features you are looking for and how to use them. This is the future of phones, and it feels like it when using it.

I'm really loving the Fold 8 Ultra. It's more than lived up to my expectations. I upgraded from a S25U and the Fold is infinitely better in everyway. The folded screen size is almost the same size as the S25U yet it unfolds into an 8" tablet. The phone is lighter than the S25U. I haven't noticed a dip in battery life in comparison. The new elite gen 5 chip is faster than the S25U. I use it unfoldedto consume media as well as multitasking. I think the only con is no spen support. It's curious Samsung chose not to add this. A+++. I highly recommend the Fold 8 Ultra.

Despite the lack of S pen capability the changes from my Z Fold 6. The material improvements in form factors are noticeable (thinner lighter hinge opening, crease...). The camera performance is an obviously improvement. Everything else is a incremental improvement. I would normally upgrade primary phone every three years (Z fold 3 still works fine but feels like a brick compared to Z Fold 6) but the upgraded form and cameras had me have a look at the Z Fold 8. Whist I miss the S Pen, it's not a productive killer for me. The Z Fold 8 upgrade was worth bringing my upgrade forward. After 2 months it's a keeper (may retire the Z Fold 3 :-) ).

I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and I’m really happy with it. The large foldable screen is fantastic, especially for multitasking, reading documents, emails and watching videos. It feels like having a phone and a small tablet in one device. The display is beautiful, everything runs smoothly and the overall design feels very premium. I also love how easy it is to have multiple apps open at the same time, which is surprisingly useful for both work and everyday use. There was a bit of a learning curve getting everything set up after changing phones, but now that it’s done, I’m loving it. Definitely one of the best phones I’ve owned.

I chose the Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra because I was excited that Samsung nearly perfected the foldable phone to date. I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable! Thank you Samsung for your perseverance and not giving up on the fold design.

Upgrading from Galaxy Z Fold 6, this was a huge step up for me. I am an engineer working in design field by profession. I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 1TB is honestly a really nice phone. The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra over an S26 Ultra and a Fold 8. In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. However, with the deals, the bundle, and the specs, I ultimately got the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. What I'm trying to say is that this new phone is completely another level—the feel in your hand, its lightweight, thin design, and everything else. Do your research, find the right phone, and enjoy. I love everything about this phone. I chose this device due to needing an upgrade to my Fold 6. I was very happy with it but boy, this is so worth it as an upgrade. I have come to enjoy this form factor quite alot. So much slimmer and faster than the 6. Screen looks great and bright as well. The reinforced inner screen crease is much better than previous models for sure. P.s. Violet Shadow looks good online but looks even better once you see it in person! 10/10

Is easy to use am 54 years old and is easy to navigate and troubleshooting is easy as you can just ask it to do specific things and why certain things ain't running and steers you in the right direction only problem I've had is message sometimes get there q2 hours later done all the settings in battery let background apps run ect other than that great phone for pretty anything you need to do plus advantage of of a nice viewing when folded didn't like the feel myself of the z8 not a very masculine phone to hold you ask me but each to there own didn't go for the hype but for practicality and style you won't be disappointed in choosing this weapon

I chose this device because I was looking for something with a bigger screen without the bulk. I've used many different phones over the years and always felt an issue of not having enough screen space for my multitasking and gaming. The fold 8 ultra solves this problem for me easily! The flexibility to have a big screen unfolded, while also having a super comfortable one-handed experience when it's folded is unmatched. I need a phone like this because I do a lot of business work, gaming, etc. Anything I need this phone to do, it can do it easily with plenty of space. I highly recommend Samsung products and especially their folding phones!

I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I wasnt sure what phone i would get when upgrade time came around , ut im glad i chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 ultra ! I used to carry q phone and a tablet to and from work , this phone allows me to bring just the ine device , and it is fast enough and has a long enough battery that i can do all the same things i did on my tablet . I use it for gaming , movies , music , and even remote controlling my pc , as well as fully featured game development right on the device. WHAT AN AWESOME PHONE !

My first attempt at a folding phone was a Microsoft Surface Duo. Since then I've owned almost every single version of the Zfold series. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

The processor speed - significant improvement over the old one as I use it for both work and personal use 2. The seam of the phone - i didnt think i would notice but its significantly better 3. The weight of the phone - so much lighter - you dont notice until you hold your old one Overall super happy with the quality increases, you can tell someone is paying attention!

I chose this phone because I'm so in love with this foldable form factor, that I can't go back to a regular phone. Going from the fold 6 to the fold 8 ultra is a huge game changer, bigger cover screen, super slim design, and even better cameras has been such a gamechanger for me. The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use. I can't recommend this device enough, especially to people who own an older foldable, or just to the everyday person considering this form factor!

My previous phone was a z flip 6. I loved it but found the size was a bit too small. I love that it fit in my pocket but i kept misplacing it. Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.

I chose the Z fold 8 Ultra because i liked having more screen for my movies and youtube. I also like how skiny the phone is even when its folded. Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

I love how I can multi-task; having multiple apps running on each side of the screen. I love how it folds up to be used as a normal phone on the outside screen. Gaming on this has also been great with the larger inner screen. Even reading web pages or books has been great. I waited a long time to finally upgrade and based on my use for the last month, I'm very impressed and I'm glad I made the switch! I would highly recommend this phone, if you have the funds! Excellent phone and not sure how I got along without it.

The new AI features are also very useful for everyday tasks and help me get things done faster. The phone feels faster and smoother than my old Fold 5, and the camera improvements are another nice upgrade. Overall, I am very happy with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. It feels like a meaningful upgrade from my Z Fold 5 and makes my daily phone use easier.

Even when many might think that is "just another yearly upgrade", it is impresive what Samsung as a brand can actually achieve on a span of a year when it comes to improving their products, making it so it feels like a completely different experience from the Fold 7 to the Fold 8 Ultra. It is my 4th upgrade in a row, starting from the Fold 5 and now a days it feels pretty much impossible to me go back to a regular one-screened format phone, not to even think of changing to another brand. The titanium layer is definitely a great feature while keeping the device SO thin thanks to the silicon carbon battery. Definitely best foldable so far, hands down.

I LOVE the Folds!! I got the Fold8-Ultra (upgraded from the Fold5) for the extra display space! It's beautiful, and flat, and matte! BUT... that camera cutout!!! An icon-sized black hole on your videos, all your videos, positioned so that it shows up in almost any way you turn your phone or adjust the screen. There *IS* a way to add a black border (through the OS) that runs down the whole side so that you don't notice the glaring black dot, but then ... that defeats the whole purpose of the additional real estate on the screen. I sent mine back. Apparently the Fold6 is the last Fold that does NOT have the camera cutout in the screens.

I chose the fold 8 ultra because I was using a 24 ultra before, and didn't want to lose too much of camera quality. So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.

Still finding my way around my new ZFold 8 Ultra but so far I'm loving a couple of things in particular. Firstly, fingerprint and facial recognition is much improved on my old S24 Ultra. Love that it's on the side button and not the screen, where the protective screen interfered with it before. Camera is wonderful, as expected, love the flexibility of the larger screen when I want it, means I don't always have to find my glasses before reading a Message :) Managed to find a good case in the same dark green as the phone, although would have loved to be able to get this model in the Pistachio colour but, first world problems hey?

Using TradingView alongside the NinjaTrader DOM (SuperDOM) is one of the most powerful setups for futures traders, and the Samsung Galaxy 8 Ultra handles it beautifully. Because Ultra has such a massive screen, you can comfortably run both interfaces side-by-side using split-screen.

I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra to replace my S23 Ultra. I desired a tablet and hoped this would be a single all in one device and it has filled all but my s pen needs. This has led me to desire either a tri fold in the future for true tablet size when traveling or an new standard flagship with an S pen and secondary tablet. Time will tell. Thank you Samsung.
