How to use Notification highlights on the Samsung Galaxy S26 series
The Notification highlights feature on the Galaxy S26 series automatically prioritises your notifications, showing important and time-sensitive alerts at the top of the notification panel. When you receive chat notifications, it also provides a short summary so you can stay focused and get the most important information quickly.

Prioritise notifications
Prioritise notifications helps show important notifications first to make sure you don't miss them. Only notifications in the same language as your phone's system language can be prioritised.
The importance of notifications is analysed based on user information and notification content. All data used for this feature is processed only on the device.
Summarise notifications
Summarise notifications provides summaries of conversational notifications without requiring you to open the notification or messaging app. This feature applies only to conversational notifications and supports the same languages as your phone's system language.
Note:
- It provides AI-generated summaries based on unread notifications.
- Summaries may not always be accurate.
- Summaries may not be provided when your battery is low or when Power saving is on.

How to set Notification highlights
Follow the steps below to activate Prioritise notifications and Summarise notifications in Notification highlights.
Step 1. Tap Settings.
Step 2. Select Notifications.
Step 3. Select Notification highlights.
Step 4. You can activate Prioritise notifications and Summarise notifications independently or at the same time.
Step 5. Activate Prioritise notifications.
Step 6. Activate Summarise notifications.
Note:
- You can enable or disable Prioritise notifications and Summarise notifications for each app individually in its settings.
