The Android community was excited when Google released the Lollipop version of its operating system in 2014, as it brought about improved features and smoother processes. This year, the company is releasing the latest version, Android M, which comes with a host of bug fixes, new features, enhanced performance and device management solutions.

Some Samsung smartphone users are also among those looking forward to the new version, which is expected to launch in the third quarter. Google is also expected to reveal what the 'M' in Android M stands for. After Kit Kat and Lollipop, the web is buzzing with guesses such as M&Ms, Marshmallow, Milk Shake, Maple Syrup, etc.
