How to setup Samsung laptop for the first time?

If you just purchased a new Samsung Notebook, then it's time to set it up. You'll need to configure some basic settings and information, like your preferred language, current time zone, and Wi-Fi network. You can also link a Microsoft account if you wish.

Note:-

  • Steps may vary as per the device model, windows version.
  • Charge the Galaxy Book and keep it powered on during the initial set-up process.
1 Unbox the laptop > Power on > connect to the internet/ Wi-Fi
2 Select Country, Language, Keyboard Layout, and Time Zone > Next
3 Review End-User Software License Agreement > I Agree
4 Connect to internet/ Select store Wi-Fi > enter the password > Next
5 Login/Create your Microsoft ID. And complete the Windows setup *If your ID is used for MS Office in another device, you may need to create a new ID
6 Once Windows setup is complete, open any Office application (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
7 [H&S MS Office included] Sign-in > System auto picks Microsoft ID
8 It will Pick up the Microsoft ID entered during windows Set-up
9 Verify the version of your H&S and Accept the license agreement
10 Click here to update your office
11 Click here to check the completion status. Initial setup has been done.
