Galaxy Tab S4: Multitask from the Recent Apps Screen

Navigate to Apps screen > Tap More Options.  > Tap Card view > Tap Multi Window > Tap the second app (example, touch Internet) > Tap and hold the area containing the desired text > Adjust the selected area by touching and dragging the anchors at either end of the selected text > Tap Copy > Tap Create Note > Tap and hold the Notes field > Tap PASTE > Tap SAVE.

1 From any screen or app, you can access the Recent apps screen by touching Recent.

2 To view recent apps in Card view, Tap More Options.

3 Tap Card view.

4 To launch an app in Split Screen view, touch Multi Window in the title bar.For this example, Tap Multi Window on Samsung Notes.

5 To open another app in split screen view, touch a second app. For this example, Tap Internet.

6 To copy the text, Tap and hold the area containing the desired text until the text selection anchors are shown.

7 Adjust the selected area by touching and dragging the anchors at either end of the selected text.

8 Tap Copy.

9 To create a new note, Tap Create Note.

10 Tap and hold the Notes field in the Note window.

11 Tap PASTE.

12 To save the note, Tap SAVE.

Note: Multi Window supported apps are displayed on a split screen, running at the same time. You can switch between the apps, adjust the size of their display on the screen, and copy information from one app to the other.
