Galaxy Watch Active

Q: Some limited music files are played on music app or transferred to Galaxy Watch Active via Galaxy Wearable app. Why is this?

A: Even though Galaxy Watch Active supports following audio formats : MP3, M4A, 3GA, AAC, OGG, OGA, WAV, WMA, AMR and  AWB, music app installed Galaxy Watch supports only limited  five audio codecs.
As it is common feature with all Samsung Galaxy Gear and Watch devices, we recommend to use other 3’rd party applications to listen  music files you want.

Q: Stretching motion was not counted even though I did actually stretching activity according to motion guide that appears in case my wearable device recognizes inactivity more than 1 hour. Why is this?

A: Samsung is aware of this issue which may appear on limited Samsung wearable device due to software malfunction and this problem will be resolved with upcoming software update . We are scheduled to release a new Software update at earliest possible. Therefore, please check for updates regularly with your device.

Alternatively, to be counted properly stretching motion before new S/W release, please press back key in motion count screen and tab.
After that retry stretching motion again.

Q: After software updating to the latest version, alarm is not sometimes ring on my device. Why is this?

A: If your Galaxy Watch Active device is not connected mobile device via Bluetooth, alarm may not ring on your wearable device installed the latest software. For the best user experience, all alarm of those wearable models are synchronized when only connected to mobile device.
We will always try to come up with the better service. 

Q: After software updating to the latest version, Bixby shortcut icon on Watch face using 3rd party app was removed. Why is this?

A: With the latest software, new Bixby has been applied on Galaxy Watch Active. Accordingly Bixby shortcut icon may be unavailable on watch face using 3rd party application if any 3rd party applications is incompatible with new Bixby.
Samsung has already shared a guidance to improve those 3rd party applications with app developers and we are working closely with them to make the application update at earliest possible.

Q: After software updating to the latest version, icon order was automatically rearranged on the Apps screen.
Especially Bixby icon was moved to the end of Apps screen. Why is this?

A: With the latest software, Bixby icon moved to the tail on Apps screen as new Bixby which differ from previous one has been applied on Galaxy Watch Active.
You can change App order based on your preference with following steps : Settings > Apps > App order > Custom.

Q: After software updating to the latest version, all setting regarding Bixby was initialized and I should set again when firstly launching Bixby. Why is this?

A: With the latest software, new Bixby which differ from previous one has been applied on Galaxy Watch Active. Accordingly you should set again to use new Bixby service.
