                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

I can't believe how thin and light it is compared to my Fold 6. The crease is less noticeable and the battery life is better. I do miss the UDC and spen, but the positives outweigh those 2 misses. I appreciate the ease of transferring everything to the new phone with Smart Switch, even seamlessly moved my Watch Ultra over. If you're using a Fold 6 or older, or a non Z Fold device and your contemplating moving to a Fold 8 it's a no brainer- just do it. Nothing like having the big beautiful screen.

The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. If you already love foldables or have been waiting for one that feels “ready” for everyday life, the Z Fold 8 Ultra really does feel like that milestone device.

Super thin but great battery life. I chose not to upgrade to the Fold 7, but this was a definite upgrade from the 6. AI baked right into all of the apps. 90% of them will be useful in my day to day operations. 7 years of guaranteed updates too, but I know I won't have this phone that long. Overall, great phone and great experience ordering and customizing it. I chose Samsung a long time ago (think Note 2!).I drifted away to other phones, but always found my way back to Samsung.

While it's not a huge leap, the improvements are noticeable in everyday use. Battery life is definitely better, and I can comfortably make it through the day without worrying about charging. This phone is very thing and much lighter than my S24 Ultra. It opens a whole new way of using a phone. Unfolded you can multitask with more apps open and with some apps expanding further. I can't praise this phone enough and there's no way I could go back to a slab phone. The outer display isn't quite as wide and the hight of my S24 Ultra but it's not much. I expect this will eventually change in future models My life cycle with phones is 2 year it'll be Fold 10 for me.

I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Right out of the box, the phone feels incredibly premium. The foldable display is stunning, everything is fast and responsive, and opening the larger screen for the first time was a real "wow" moment. Even on day one, I can tell this is going to completely change the way I use my phone. To complete the experience, I paired it with the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and they've been just as impressive. The setup was effortless, the sound is rich and crystal clear, and the noise cancellation is excellent. Together, they make an amazing combination. What impressed me most is how effortlessly everything works together. Even though it's only my first day with the Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, the experience has already exceeded my expectations. If this is what day one feels like, I can't wait to see how much more I'll enjoy them over time.

The phone is a lot thinner and less bulky than previous models making it absolutely perfect. The upgraded cameras are a huge bonus and makes it worth every penny. The screen and sound quailty is phenomenal and watching films or playing games is amazing. I wish it had a stylus but that doesn't take away from how great this phone is. Love the violet colour as well.

I was gobsmacked when I actually received it. Plenty of discount on launch day and great trade in value (plus some Bud 4 pros thrown in for free- big upgrade to my Bud 3 pro). So the Fold. Well it's just awesome. I love the form factor and find it so great to use. Especially reading websites or email. Also watching YouTube. So glad I went Fold. Super responsive and light.

I send a lot of emails and spend a lot of time sending slack messages. This phone has allowed me to multi cast and 2 both at the same time. 80% or more of the day is me being on my phone for work when I'm away from the desk. The battery last all day and the quality and brightness of the screen allows for me to do everything I can do on a computer to now do it on the phone. Outside of work I play racing games and gotcha games with the large screen size and the response time are on par with playing on a pc. This phone allows for me to control my house ecosystem.

Build quality is phenomenal, feels solid and well built. Love all the little touches with the software as well. Only thing I very much dislike is the speakers. Can't use speaker phone, which is how I normally always take calls. Volume is so soft and the speakers occasionally make crackling noise. S25 ultra was far superior in this aspect. Other than that I'm relatively satisfied.

Fold 7 was tempting but the lacklustre battery life held me back. Finally this year, the fold 8 and fold 8 ultra addressed the battery life issue with keeping the same slim physical silhouette. I choose the fold 8 ultra because I wanted the better camera, even though the fold 8 form factor was very tempting. I will miss the s-pen sorely but I am loving the large main screen and how thin the phone feels in my hands. I also got the watch ultra 2 to go along with the phone.

Side by Side Multi Window becomes something you rely on. Email on one side, notes on the other. Maps next to messages. A full browser next to a video call. It is the first time multitasking on a phone has felt natural instead of cramped. Performance is instant and smooth. The Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 and improved cooling make it feel closer to a small laptop than a phone. The camera system is another highlight. The 200MP main sensor delivers crisp detail, great low light shots, and zoom performance that makes you double check that you are still using a phone. Battery life easily lasts a full day of heavy use. The hinge feels solid, and the whole device has a premium but not fragile feel. The crease is not really noticeable at all when in use ans only visable really from a side view. The hinge feels solid and well made, it does not feel like it will break at any point. The Z Fold8 Ultra responds just as quick as any other flagship Galaxy phone. The main camera is also just as good as the standard Galaxy Ultra range. Bring a bigger battery ensures that the phone stands up against time and lasts just as long as a conventional phone under normal use and if you are streaming or gaming consistently you also get enough battery you would expect. I think increasing the wireless charging to be as fast as the standard Galaxy range would of been ideal but it still charges quick enough. Wired charging again is fast.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z8 Ultra is a significant upgrade from previous generations. Finally, the phone feels correct when using the front screen for texts. Additionally, the new thinner dimensions make the phone nearly indistinguishable from most others when carried in your pocket. Combined with the upgraded camera and enhanced battery, the Z8 Ultra more than earns it's it's new title.

                Amazing phone. After using it for just one day, I have realized what I have been missing. Now I cannot go back to normal phones. You have to use it to believe how good it is.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery level is good, much better than my s23 ultra. I find the device quite durable despite it's looks of being fragile. The phone is super responsive, however I find this with most samsung devices. Overall the crease and hinge a lot is made of it however i find it totally fine. It is my first folding phone and have to say I am slowly seeing some of the benefits.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In regars to the Z Fold line, I've had the Z Fold 3 and recently the Z Fold 7. The 8 Ultra, is what I've been waiting for. Finally bringing some of the more "flagship" tech to the Fold line. Better camera being the main one and a better antiglare mainscreen. And finally a better battery, whilst being a little thinner than the Fold 7.

Loving the size and feel , hinge feels much sturdier and durable , overall looks gorgeous, has improved battery and the crease is much less noticeable , its also very responsive when going through the apps

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fold for its innovative design. I game on my phone and mostly watch movies on it. I also find texting and typing easier on the wide screen as I have large fingers so having the option for a wider display is so helpful for me. My only gripe is all the AI that is packed into everything nowadays. Some stuff is useful like detecting unwanted content but the AI in the camera takes away from the magic of a photo and I wish they would give the option to toggle it on and off. I also dislike all the AI apps they install from a fresh setup but thats fine to remove. Apart from my dislike of all the AI garbage stuffed into products nowadays I can at least count on Samsung to innovate with every new phone the release.
