I have heard that the Galaxy Watch Active supports 5 ATM water resistance. What does the 5 ATM mean?

With a rating of 5 ATM water resistance, the Galaxy Watch Active is great for activities in the pool, or the open water.
The Galaxy Watch has been tested in a controlled environment and is certified to be water and dust resistant in specific situations and conditions (meets the requirements of water resistance up to 50 meters in depth for 10 minutes).
In accordance with ISO Standard 22810:2010, the Galaxy Watch Active is safe to wear while walking in the rain or showering, and may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. However, the Galaxy Watch should not be used for scuba-diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth.
