My Galaxy Z Flip is purple. It seems like the cover screen color looks different from others. Is my device faulty?

Cover screens colors may look different depending on the exterior color of your Galaxy Z Flip because the light transmittance is different for each exterior glass color.  It is not a hardware defect and does not affect the device performance or device features.
