Located in North America, one of the region’s largest fast casual restaurant chains needed to refresh its stores, with displays as a major focus area for improvement. The company decided to change its outdoor and indoor menu boards, choosing Samsung as the ideal partner due to its deep experience in the QSR (quick service restaurant) industry. Samsung’s line-up includes the QBR and OHF, which were both selected by the customer.

The QBR 49” display is designed for indoor menu boards, while the OHF 55” is used for outdoor menu boards. Outdoor products in particular need excellent durability and Samsung’s OHF has several special features. IP56 certification, protection glass (IK-10 level) which is polarized for visibility in any direction, and a Kensington lock ensures the display is robust and reliable to handle consistent customer demand. Samsung’s MagicINFO solution also enables the easy management of displays, allowing businesses to schedule content and update promotions. These intelligent, intuitive features and capabilities are the reason Samsung was chosen as a partner.

A global leader in the fast-food industry selected Samsung to provide display units as part of a project to transform its drive-thru offering. With stores across North America, one well-known casual dining chain wanted to provide a great dining experience, while offering the character of a sports bar for customers watching the big game. As a place where viewers often choose to go and cheer on their favorite teams, the customer chose Samsung as its display partner to help bring the experience to life on a big screen. Samsung’s large LED display, with a width of 2.9M and length of 1.6M,was installed at the main stage or in the main viewing area of each location. By replacing the previous projector that was installed, the picture quality was much bigger, brighter and bolder. This ensured that every viewer could enjoy the game on the big screen while enjoying their food and drink – all for a memorable visit to the store.

With over 1,000 stores located throughout South Korea, C+Urban is one of the largest local franchise coffee chains. With increasing demand for a more seamless customer experience, Coffee Banhada decided to transform each store into a smart café that can operate efficiently 24/7.

In order to undergo this transformation, Samsung’s Kiosk was selected as the optimum display and installed in locations across the country. The Samsung Kiosk provides a smart solution that enables any smart café customer to order through the compact, touch-screen display, before receiving their beverage prepared by a robot barista for enhanced convenience.

In addition, the Samsung Kiosk is an integrated ordering and payment solution, supporting NFC (Near Field Communication), Wi-Fi, QR barcode scanner and receipt printer – all without the need for an external PC or additional peripherals. When releasing news products into market, one of the largest global tobacco groups in the world was looking to identify a new way to promote their products in the most efficient way possible. With store space typically limited, a smaller, more compact display was required. Samsung’s QBR small signage series was the perfect choice.

Available in two sizes, 13-inches and 24-inches, with touch-screen capability also available, the QBR series delivers clear, crisp picture quality, without requiring much space. Plus, installation is possible in both landscape and portrait orientation, offering flexibility for any environment.
