It has Samsung TV built in and seems to have a powerful processor, because the interface is extremely fast and responsive—faster than any I've ever seen. I love how you can watch TV and play games or use your PC at the same time with the picture in picture mode. Overall I'm struggling to think of anything more I could desire out of this monitor so you definitely get what you pay for and I could see myself using this happily for at least 5 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best monitor i have ever used. Colors are vibrant on this Quantum dot OLED panel. I was able to achieve 120HZ refresh rate when connecting my MacBook Pro and Mac mini which is great and i can control the monitor brightness my Mac which makes the experience even better. When connected to a PC i get the full 165HZ refresh rate. Tizen OS is fluid and easy to use when you want to take a break from work and just relax watching some YouTube videos or streaming apps. HDR makes the colors pop when watching compatible content. Build quality of the monitor is very premium. Samsung vision AI helps with image upscaling and has useful feature called Click to search. The remote control is very easy to use with smooth edges. The fact that it has a solar panel on the back is really helpful in making it last longer on a single charge. When you need to charge it, there a USBC port at the bottom of the remote. Space is definitely at a premium there, so I love being able to work, play, and relax without any of the wires and clutter of additional devices like a streaming box or gaming console. The monitor is a pleasure to use, thanks to its solar-chargeable remote and the feature-packed Tizen OS. Every major video streaming and gaming service is supported, and I had no trouble logging into my accounts and viewing content. When it comes time to get work done, I just plug the monitor’s single USB-C cable into my laptop to get video, audio, and charging all at once. In terms of picture quality, the QD-OLED panel delivers fantastic colors, brightness, and contrast. The screen looks good from any angle and does a great job of reducing glare from nearby lights or windows. If you look very closely, the matte finish does make the image appear slightly coarse, but it doesn’t bother me at all while viewing from a normal distance. When it comes to sound, the M90SF is actually better than I expected. Its speakers can play loud and clear, with good midrange and treble but limited bass. Audio also can be output over USB, Bluetooth, or HDMI-ARC/eARC. My powered USB speakers work well after manually setting the monitor’s USB ports to internal use (instead of passing them through to a connected PC). Overall, the M90SF excels at just about everything, whether you’re playing games, watching videos, or being productive. That said, it would’ve been nice if the monitor had more than one HDMI port, especially for anyone planning on connecting a soundbar. Aside from that minor limitation, I’m very happy with this smart monitor.

The image is sharp with amazing resolution no glare and super responsive. The menu system is very familiar just like my Samsung TV. The USB-C input is powered and provides enough power to charge my laptop while connected. Usually a monitor is best for one purpose like gaming, productivity or media consumption but this monitor is all around good at everything. I’d recommend the Samsung M90 for every use case and rate it as the ultimate monitor money can buy at any price point.

Everything works well, has great resolution, oled looks vibrant and bright, although i would have preferred glossy rather than matte to get better contrast. I wish there was an audio jack and I wish the Netflix app actually worked. For me it is buggy, but all other apps work well. I live using it for playing video games on my PS5 and using my laptop with it to CAD.

All the features you expect in a high end monitor (4k, OLED, thunderbolt support, power delivery) and then add a smart functionality so that you can use your favorite streaming apps or even plug in a gaming system. I primarily got this because I needed a larger screen for my work but I end up now watching shows/movies as much as I work. My biggest fear with an OLED monitor is that it may burn with a static desktop background, but Samsung has solved that with better cooling and software updates to optimize and prevent screen burns. Pros: - AMAZING screen reflection handling... even in a bright room, there's not reflection from bright objects - 4k screen is the best - designed for work: power delivery, thunderbolt, plenty of ports, can sync a Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard to the monitor to use with your computer - great built speaker - built in 4k camera - built in mic Cons: - honestly no idea I honestly cannot wait for the next generation of this monitor. First of all the display is just absolutely mind blowing. The refresh rate is so great that my computer isn’t even powerful enough to fully take advantage of it. Every single thing about this feels premium. From the unboxing, to the setup, to the UI - I can really see why Samsung is top dog. I was showing my friends how I can even play games on it thanks to Luna gaming or Xbox game pass. I’m playing baldurs gate on my monitor! Finally, there’s also a built in camera which is going to do wonders for my video calls and streaming. Overall I can’t think about one thing I would improve. Everything is such a great experience.

If you manage multiple positions, such as finance and design, you must sacrifice either the quality of color or the quality of functionality; you can't have both. The M9 bridges that gap and then throws in a cherry on top with its ability to also act as a smart device, so when you need a break from work, you can easily grab a quick episode of your favorite show or play a game. It is an excellent solution for those who work and live in multiple roles. Let's talk design. It has a sturdy base of quality materials, but the monitor itself is made of hard plastic. I do wish it came in a metal shell to support the high-quality screen, but this is to try to match the aesthetic look of my MacBook and iMac. The monitor offers connectivity via Type A, HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C, with 90W power support, making it perfect for laptop users. The base allows for it to be lowered, rotated, and tilted, which is excellent for standing desk users. To make it even better from a design perspective, they also give you a 4K camera, built-in speakers, and a mic. It was well designed. Let's talk user features. The eask boasts a 4 K, 32-inch screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The color is excellent and perfect for any graphic or video editing. But what shines for those downtimes when you want to game is the 165Hz, .03ms response time. Is it the best for gaming? No. But is it better than most on the market while also doing everything else? Absolutely. And for someone who can't have both, getting all these in one is more than I have ever seen. If you're focused on brightness and crispness, this offers 250 nits, which is lower than the average MacBook screen, but 32 inches is a significant tradeoff. It is not noticeable to the naked eye, unless you are comparing side by side. Lastly, the innovative features. I am a bit behind on testing this, as AI in a monitor is still new to me, but I like what it can do. As AI becomes increasingly powerful, I see this as the standard for the future, where everything will incorporate some level of AI. Time will tell how Samsung uses it, but I am excited for the future. Overall, I highly recommend considering this option if you are looking for a high-end, all-in-one solution beyond just a monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Smart Monitor M90SF has a beautiful OLED panel that is extremely color accurate. Out of the box, Graphic mode and Warm 1 produce results closest to the D65 white balance standard. Using my colorimeter, I was able to use the built-in 2 point grayscale adjustment to calibrate this panel to less than 1 Delta E. This is a near perfect display in terms of color accuracy! The physical design of the monitor is simply gorgeous. The aluminum shell has a premium finish. The front bezels are well-balanced where the built-in webcam and bottom chin have the same thickness. This is a very well-built monitor that even has pulsating heat pipes with coolant to help dissipate heat and reduce burn-in. I love that the included remote is rechargeable via USB-C and even has a solar cell to reduce the need to ever charge it. The OSD is extremely fast and pleasant to use. There are a lot of built-in apps that include all the major streaming services. This is a very good multimedia monitor that can be used as a TV without a computer. Unfortunately, there are some design decisions that keep this from getting a perfect score. For whatever reason, there is only a single HDMI port on this monitor. If you plug in a computer, there is no more room for a game console unless you want to sacrifice the HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for DisplayPort 1.4. The monitor also maxes out at 120hz when Graphic or Entertain picture modes are picked. This is unfortunate as the only way to achieve 165hz is by enabling Game mode. This in itself wouldn't be an issue except that Game mode locks out most other picture adjustments and forces AI Picture Optimization. This may or may not be an issue for you but I personally demand that my displays are as picture accurate as possible. With AI Picture Optimization, simply moving windows around the desktop will cause the display to alter the image brightness and contrast on the fly and can be very distracting. The matte finish of the display is very strong. It is very effective at eliminating ambient light reflections but it causes everything to look slightly grainy. Blacks look slightly grey if there is any light in the room and text fringing looks to have chromatic aberration due to the finish. This display really would've benefited from a glossy finish. However, content looks incredible in a dark room with inky blacks. Overall, this is a gorgeous display that really needs an additional HDMI port to truly unlock its potential as a multimedia powerhouse.

This monitor had multiple features in where to watch entertainment whether it be movies or shows, however my priority remained with using it with my computer. The monitor screen itself had great quality though being able to run 120hz and 4k quality very comfortably this was a pleasure on the eyes for both my gaming I did with it and the shows I watch with its Smart TV applications. the monitor’s speakers where very top notch and had very clear and loud quality. I mostly used it to play music outload sometimes when studying or just to vibe. An issue I had with another feature of the monitor, the back button. The main issue was it being too small at times sometimes you would try pressing to go doing too fast and end up accidently pressing in the button from how small it was.

The monitor is awesome in almost every way. The thing I want to know is how I turn off the microphone for the web came since there is no setting for it, yet I use USB audio (which overall works great) yet when I switch input sources I often get terrible feedback because the webcam microphone is on. If you can tell me how to turn that off (preferably permanently) I will give a 5 star review. The monitor is awesome.

Upon unboxing, I was immediately impressed with its sleek design. I love the metal design of the monitor and it looks super premium from all angles. Keeping up with the premium nature is the included remote control that even features solar cells on the back to allow it to be charged via light. Setup was extremely easy thanks to the on-screen guide. I was able to easily customize the smart apps to my liking. I love being able to use this monitor as a TV. The actual display itself is very high quality and has a matte finish that eliminates most of the reflections in my room. It helps make the viewing experience even more immersive since I'm not seeing my own face anytime there is a dark scene. Black levels are super inky and the contrast is very nice. Overall I am very happy with this monitor. It has all the features I would want and the quality is incredible!

I can have two documents open side to side on my work monitor, but with this monitor I can have three documents open side to side and still have space below if I want to keep a folder open for quick access. When I want to take a break or am done working for the day, I can seamlessly open apps to watch a television show or a movie and the quality is great. I also like the fact that Samsung provided a USB-C cable and HDMI cable with the monitor, when it seems that most products on the market now require you to purchase cables separately. The set up was extremely easy. The sound quality is great with such a slim profile monitor. The adjustable stand provides flexibility. Apps load extremely fast and switching between apps are nearly instant. This monitor has two USB-A ports and one USB-C port in the back that allows you to plug in your bluetooth keyboard and mouse, a USB flash drive, or your laptop. There also is a webcam on the front that is useful for work meetings. The remote control is easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been comparing this to the my M80D - here are my thoughts. I love the picture quality when I am streaming from apps directly on the monitor. The color is amazing and comparable to the S90D TV. Connecting to my Samsung book 4 Ultra though... the colors don't really pop.. I played around with the color settings for a few days and I didn't get the results I wanted... I was hoping the colors would pop like they do when streaming from the apps on the monitor. The sound quality is great :D I can finally listen to my stuff on the monitor. I do kind of wish the HDMI 2.1 port was an eARC port to get a better experience from non Dolby Atmos content on my soundbar system. Using the WiFi audio option is okay but doesn't get me the Dolby Digital/Plus audio like I do with my TV/ Soundbar setup (Q990D). My setup will be to use the M80D as my laptop monitor bc it has a brighter/Vivid display on the PC connection than the M90SF and to use the M90SF to play my video content. I love that I can use the camera as my security camera though! via the SmartThings app.. I can get notified if there's any motion detected :D. I wish the Samsung Members app would add TVs/Monitors/Soundbars on there to report issues/suggestions. Samsung, the 4k camera needs some attention... the video is dark compared to the M80D camera. Samsung, please work on improving the color settings when connecting to a laptop, the colors are somewhat flat. I can't use this monitor with my laptop bc of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart monitor puts a smile on my face every time I turn it on. Whether I’m enjoying a game, working on my computer, or streaming a show, the QD-OLED panel makes everything look amazing. Even better, the M90SF does it all without a bunch of extra equipment and tangled wiring. I’m using the monitor on the smallest of desks, yet I’ve never felt cramped or limited. Of course, it all starts with the screen, and there the M90SF delivers in spades. Colors pop, blacks are inky-deep, and HDR contrast is impressive. Gaming is a joy, with the 165Hz refresh rate from my PC looking buttery smooth. Samsung’s AI game genre detection is an interesting concept, but I ended up turning off the feature to avoid sudden changes in my picture settings. Doing so was easy, just a matter of selecting "Original" mode from the monitor’s Game Bar popup menu. The M90SF’s quality also extends well beyond its gorgeous screen. The monitor’s internal speakers sound surprisingly good, especially after I boosted the bass a bit using the EQ settings. The built-in webcam is great for video calls, and I love that the monitor’s stand offers ample height adjustment, up/down tilt, and even the ability to rotate the screen into portrait orientation. All told, the M90SF has been the near-perfect solution for work and play in my cramped living space. I would’ve liked for the monitor to come with a headphone jack and/or support for low-latency Bluetooth audio codecs, but those are relatively small omissions in the grand scheme of things.

This monitor met most of my expectations. The perfect replacement for my desk set up for school/work productivity and being able to game on my PS5 if I feel like sitting at my desk instead of looking up to my TV is a life changer. Smart TV UI is fast and snappy, picture quality is great. However, when connected to a PC/laptop, HDR does not seem to work properly and colors get washed out if HDR is on Windows, and it's maxed out to 120hz instead of 165hz. I found that switching PC input to Game Mode fixed the issue and HDR works as should with 165hz. Not sure why that is if Game Mode is off, if I can get clarification on this by Samsung that would be appreciated. Otherwise, I really have no complaints other than the HDR situation. Also, the anti-glare coating is top notch. It doesn't look like other matte displays on the market that I've personally seen.

This monitor is not worth money. The screen looks good but it will always forget your settings. You will need to readjust your picture settings anytime you restart your PC. It's implementation of VRR is not working at all, you will get significant blur when enabling it. The software is just buggy and brutal to deal with. There is this bug that anytime I open the settings menu, the speakers explode from a loud feedback sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unpacking and setting up the M90SF was deceptively simple. Assembly took only a few minutes, followed by one or two SmartThings sign-in screens, and my Mac Mini appeared on the display right away. Of course, the real setup came afterward in digging through the menus and tweaking settings. That’s when it became clear just how much is packed into this product, to the point of feeling a little overwhelming at first. The main menu mirrors the most recent Samsung smart TV layout, so if you’ve used one of their televisions in the past few years, it feels familiar. The panel itself is impressive, with sharp colors and standout HDR in games and media. Samsung chose an anti-glare finish that works well in bright light, even if it adds a slightly grainy texture and softens sharpness a touch. The monitor also uses a redesigned internal system meant to reduce the risk of burn-in. In practical use, the single USB-C port handles everything for my laptop or Mac Mini, while HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 provide flexibility for other devices. The built-in speakers are loud and better than average for a monitor. The webcam was more wide-angle than expected, pulling in much of the surroundings, which is helpful or distracting depending on the situation. Image quality is solid in good light, a little grainy in dimmer rooms, but good enough that I didn’t feel the need to connect my usual external camera for everyday calls. Having the full smart TV lineup of apps and features adds real versatility, pulling together multiple roles into one screen. And while the 165 Hz refresh rate isn’t the very highest available today, it’s still more than smooth enough for most gaming and media.
