Subtitle: Samsung’s Derek Johnston leads a live discussion with Amresh Singh alongside Ciena’s Mitch Simcoe about how Samsung and Ciena are working together to enable faster, pre-validated 5G network solution implementations.

5G has quickly gone from hype to reality with live commercial deployments taking place worldwide.  Enterprises and Utilities can take advantage of the low latency deterministic performance and IoT scalability of 5G as they migrate their private wireless networks from 700 MHz. However, many are not ready to make the leap quite yet. The good news is that there are many steps a business can take to transition into 5G.

To innovate next-gen wireless networks, it’s important to have partnerships that combine best-in-class solutions to simplify and accelerate the transition to 5G.  Samsung and Ciena are working together to offer hardware and software solutions to telecom operators by coupling Samsung’s 5G solutions with Ciena’s xHaul solution.

Combining Samsung’s 5G RAN and Core with Ciena’s xHaul Routing and Switching portfolio and next-generation Manage, Control and Plan (MCP) domain controller will give customers an optimized offer that takes full advantage of 5G services, while providing efficient ways to manage massive data across networks and to the cloud. This will help accelerate the deployment of advanced applications enhanced by 5G, such as network slicing, IoT and automation through AI. The combined offer will deliver a validated solution, providing more compatible, faster and simplified implementations of 5G networks.

Please join Ciena and Samsung and learn how together, enterprises can be assured of smooth operations in the migration to 5G.
