The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized Samsung Electronics’ induction cooking tops as the winner of a 2021 ENERGY STAR® Emerging Technology Award (ETA). Becoming the first winner of the ETA in the induction cooking tops category, we demonstrated our innovative high-efficiency energy technologies once again. In 2020, we received the same award in the refrigerator category for our refrigerators equipped with the Advanced Adaptive Digital Inverter Compressor.
At the 25th Energy Winners of the Year Awards hosted by Consumers Korea and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Energy Agency, the Bespoke 4-Door Kitchen-Fit refrigerator won both the Grand Energy Prize and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award. In addition, the Bespoke Induction Infinite Line™ won the Energy Technology Award and the Bespoke WindFree™ Air Conditioner Gallery, the Digital Variable Multi S2 (DVM S2, a central heating and cooling system), the Bespoke Grande AI™ Washer, the Grande Tong Bubble Washing Machine 25 kg and the Bespoke Convection Oven each won an Energy Winner Award.
The Korea Green Purchasing Network (KGPN), a not-for-profit civic group, recognized Bespoke refrigerators, the Bespoke Grande AI™ Washer, the Bespoke WindFree™ Air Conditioner Gallery, Bespoke induction ranges, the Bespoke Qooker, Bespoke range hoods and the Bespoke Convection Oven Smart Cook as
Green Products of the Year.
