The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

The crease is alot less noticeable compared to any foldable I have held. The hinge is smooth and firm enough that you need a bit of force to open or close the phone which is good becuase you dont want a floppy phone. It feels very strong as in durable, i wouldn't personally test dropping the phone but im confident it can survive decent heights. The battery lasts me all day and charges very fast, faster than the fold 7. The inner and outer screens are both great, i primarily use the inner screen and I'm well pleased with it. The phone is very responsive when it comes to any task.

I am loving it so far! I love the size of both displays, and I really like the size of the device in general. The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

Finally, it’s the Fold where I can type comfortably with my big hands. Though I only had it for two days, it’s been very pleasant with all the improvements Samsung implemented into this little device. Battery life has improved, which is a huge plus, the hinge feels much more durable, and the brightness is noticeably better outdoors compared to the Fold 5 I was using. With the newest Snapdragon, the phone feels so much snappier and more responsive. Highly recommended if you’re undecided whether to buy one or not.

As an AuDHDer who is VERY change-averse, a new phone normally involves several days of “I hate it, give me my old one back!” 😂 But the Fold8 has won me over ridiculously quickly. Gorgeous big screen, surprisingly light and perfect for my 47-tabs-open-at-once brain. I absolutely love it!

Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

I finally made the jump to the Fold series and I couldn't be happier that I did. This form factor is perfect for my big hands, and I can comfortably type one-handed without any issues. The improved battery life is also a welcome addition, and all content, including videos and games are delightful on the inner display. It might be expensive, but if the camera system was to improve in the future, i'm sure this can easily become mainstream.
High risk design while being beautiful and functional. My first Fold has everything that I wanted, with the exception of no front panel edge protection. I bought the expensive protection plan just to get a discount on the available partial case cover. Will be keeping the monthly plan, as it probably will be needed.

This is my third Samsung Galaxy Z Fold device, and Samsung has truly outdone itself. It feels noticeably thinner and lighter in the hand, making the overall ergonomics and grip much better than previous generations. The most significant improvement for me is the battery. The battery capacity and overall battery life are exceptional and last far longer than before. Highly recommended for anyone considering an upgrade or jumping into foldables!

I've had my fold 8 for just over a week and I'm in love. The size is just right, the colour is gorgeous, battery life is amazing. Honestly, it's 100% my favourite fold. I've had the fold 6, and now the fold 8. This is by far the best phone. Only down side is the genuine case. I purchased the lilac one to match the phone, but I can't get on with it. It doesn't feel right a case on the back and nothing on the front. But that's a personal opinion. I still LOVE it!!!

Purchased the zfold 8 and it's been amazing! The overall experience has been great, especially viewing content. Feels like I'm getting the best of both worlds of being compact and easy to carry, along with a large screen at any given time. The battery has been great as well for an entire day's worth of use and the hinge/durability of the phone can be seen to be strong and for long term usage. Overall, couldn't be happier!
This is the Samsung foldable I have been waiting for! I found the Z fold series phones to big and I did not like the aspect ratio (I owned the Z Fold 5) and I bought mostly the Z Flip phones (3 and 5), which lacked functionality on the outer screen. The Z Fold 8 is a perfect compromise of the former Fold and Flip phones, and once more apps are optimized for the new aspect ratio it will be perfect. And what crease - It is gone!

I have been using the Z Fold 8 for a week, I have come from having the Z Foldv7 and I absolutely love the form factor, hands more manageable than the Z Fold 7. Look the cameras could be better, but it's not like I'm a professional photographer either! IP rating could be better but again I've never really exposed any of my previous founds to the elements, like sand for example. I don't think I'd ever go back to slab style phone ever again, or in particular a Z Fold 7/8 Ultra form factor!! Z Fold just fits, it's perfect!! Well done Samsung i think you finally got it right!!

I saw the form factor and knew I wanted it immediately lol and I don't normally buy foldables. It's small and cute and an excellent conversation starter. I do wish the cameras inside were in the corner though.
This is my third foldable device. They keep on making them better and better. I seem to be using the phone in closed format 90% of the time, when I need to read a document ot watch something on YouTube in large format, it is a pretty amazing experience. I am very happy so far. My one complaint is that it's pretty much impossible to find a phone case that doesn't require gluing it to the top frame.
I love the new form factor. Samsung should take this and further improve upon upcoming interations.

WOW! WOW! WOW!! What a fantastic phone. Had an Honor V3 then a V5. I decided to go back to Samsung and I'm so glad I did. This phone is amazing and my allegiance is back with Samsung they have really produced the best fold that's out there. Don't hesitate get one!!!
I bought 2 phones Galaxy Fold 8's. They have been amazing so far. Really smooth hinge and seems very durable. Battery life has been quite good. Seem to get through the day without needing to charge the phone. Display is amazing as always with Samsung. And responsive too. Really happy this is my first foldable phone for me and my wife.

My biggest complaint with the phone currently is when I have an app on my screen and I turn it vertically many times while the app changes vertically it does not cover the whole screen. The other issue I have is when it becomes vertical the power button volume button and fingerprint sensor is either on the top or the bottom of the screen which is not conducive for ease of use

I got my fold 8 on Aug 3. I trade it in with my fold 6 at a very reasonable price. I like fold 8. It is light, very fast and also come with new AI feature. The fold size is perfect. I think I made a right choice.

Samsung never dissapoints ,i nived to samsung when the first flip came and now this loving it!!!! I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

The best phone format I’ve ever tried. I had the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, but they are bulky and clumsy. The Fold8 makes life much easier: - small, thin and lightweight: it easily fits in a jeans pocket - great for watching YouTube and reading books - the hinge is less visible than on my wife’s Flip6 - the standing case is excellent for hands-free content viewing It’s not ideal, though: - the camera is visibly worse than on the S26 Ultra - some apps cut off content because of the folded display’s unusual width - it looks fragile and might be very expensive to repair after a fall

I moved from Flip 3, so the quality, speed, experience is wonderful. The fold is getting some time to accustom myself... as shape is shorter, wider, and I find I'm upside down, covering lens, fumbling to get it positioned right. The full fold experience is different and I'm fumbling around here as well. I'll get used to it soon, Beyond that, love the phone.
I've been a fan of the Flip series for years now, when the fold 8 passport size was announced I was all in! Perfect size, a truly useable screen on the front not just a notification viewer, the internal screen is big enough I can do everything I use my laptop and phone for! this has lightened my daily carry immensely. After getting my wife a Fold 7, I've been totally amazed by these foldable phones. You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

Overall device is great, crease almost feels nothing. No matter opening or closing the main screen, it feels smooth and solid. Use device 3 days, open more than hundred times of main screen, it feels no change for the operation. I am pretty sure I can use this phone for few years no problems. Main screen brightness 🔆 is great even under direct sunshine. I used device for 3 days, only charge one time i am so confident that I can use the phone full day with high usage.

Absolutely loving this form factor of Fold 8. The crease in the middle feels totally revamped and invisible to feel or see in direct straight view. The added screen real estate, feels more of a tablet . I love watching movies and tv shows as well as playing Emulated games.

Coming from a Z Fold 5, I was due for an upgrade. The new form factor was intriguing, as I spend a lot of time viewing content and playing games. The display is great, and the crease, while not completely gone, is hardly noticeable and you get used to it. The phone can handle any game I play, even demanding ones like Wuthering Waves. Even gaming on the cover screen is useable, and I can still connect it with my Bluetooth game controllers. What surprised me the most is how much I actually enjoy using the phone closed and just interacting with the cover screen. The phone gives me the convenience of using a small phone, while still being able to turn it into a mini-tablet when I need more space. The cameras are decent enough for my needs, and even the digital zoom to 4x is still pretty crisp. I will say the portrait mode could be better, as I feel my Fold 5 had better edge detection, but I feel this can improve with future updates hopefully. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, and recommend it to anyone that's on the fence about it.

I love this phone. The screen size, picture quality, seeing yourself as you take selfies, double sided recording. I am not tech savvy but always wanted a better phone and from Samsung A12 to Fold 8 is a huge improvement finally. Battery seems to be depleting rather quickly for a new phone but might be my usage since I am in love with it It is quite responsive and quick to load sites and videos. As for durability and the hinges and the fold of the screen remain to be seen..

I bought Fold 8 for my wife upgrading from Flip 7 to Fold 8. worse decision ever. Much more slower than ever, battery isn't that good as well as advertised. more frustrations on the fold 8. the only thing i love about this device is the size. the rest are worse then previous version.

Just upgraded from my Zfold3 to the Zfold8 and the difference is fantastic. Fully charged on Friday and it's lasted until Monday, my old phone would've needed 6 charges in that time. It's half the thickness of my old one and transferring my data between the phones was super easy. Loving the new features and how responsive it is.

Love the form factor, screen and battery life. As it is quite new, unsure about the screen durability and crease inside the fold. The speakers are a little weak and they are all on one side making it awkward sometimes when viewing in landscape.

Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

Where do i start? The fold 8 is the perfect little machine. Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

I love the new size of phone both screens are a great size and it is easy to carry around in pockets and bags. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

This phone is a revelation, perfect size for one or two hand operation. Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive foldable that combines a compact phone with a large 7.6-inch display for multitasking, streaming and productivity. Its slimmer 201g design, improved hinge and much less noticeable crease make it more comfortable and refined than earlier Fold models. Performance is excellent, while the 50MP camera system produces strong results in everyday photography. The main drawbacks are the very high price, the lack of a dedicated telephoto camera and the relatively small 4,800mAh battery. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is a premium and versatile foldable that is ideal for users who value a large screen and multitasking in a pocketable device.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
