The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 1TB is honestly a really nice phone. The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

Early days, but so far a big improvements on the 7 I had previously. My biggest issue with the 7 (the most expensive phone) had a terrible camera. Could never get my head round it. Now a much improved and decent camera. The screen is improved and the fold barely visible. Although, to be honest, it didn't really bother me.The fold in the fold seven. It folds away much neater and feels a lot better quality than the seven. The battery fuels like it last slightly longer.Although on my previous fold seven , the battery still seemed okay. Would I recommend it?Yes, I would.It just feels a lot better phone all round.

I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

First week review of the Fold after having the owned the last six Galaxy S2x Ultra models. Holds battery surprisingly well. Screens are very responsive and good resolution. OS is very fast and responsive even with the fold/unfold requiring everything on the screen to change modes. Very smart to have front facing cameras on both screens. Room for improvement; a little hard to open the fold without tapping things on the small screen, perhaps a finger gap to open would be better. In the open screen mode the keyboard doesn't make use of the middle of the fold which makes it a bit hard to open. Overall this might be the time to go Fold if you are considering it.

I am a big believer in Fold Devices for their comfort, flexibility & expand from a bar to a tablet. I tried and tested many Microsoft, Google & Samsung Fold Devices but settle back to the Samsung Fold for the convenience of Android Ecosystem from Smart Watches, Android Auto, Android Tablets and Phone Link to name a few. Recently upgraded from Fold 6 to Fold 8 Ultra and what a change in sheer strength of hinge, weight of the device and display improvements i notice immediately. So Far I Am Loving My Fold 8 Ultra. Cant wait to test it out end to end and add a bit more feedback post few months of use.

It's now been over a week since I have started using the new Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra and I love it. Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Honestly, have been dreaming of this phone before it came out. It all happened when I bought my wife are Galazy S26 ultra, I was looking fold with good battery life and the durability also with display and some like Zfold came up on Google that samsung is speculating on this. And I told my self no matter the time I will wait and on my membership samsung a notification came up for me to pick what I like, I selected mobile, electronic as my favourite because I look samsung product my washing machine is samsung, I also use galaxy S25 before I traded it in for Z fold 8 ultra and I also wish to change my TV to samsung too. Honestly I wasn't disappointed with my expectations on the phone, I so much love the phone along with the features it has.

I got this as an upgrade to a previous Samsung fold, and this new Fold8 Ultra is a big improvement over older folds as soon as you pick it up! The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

Pro- - Perfect chips, 16gb ram makes it fast with multiple apps open once and not get laggy - Light phone, very minualist, really like the green colour - Light crescent, better foldable experience. - Faster charging speed, easier to open the fold inside Con- - Slow transfer speed, tooks around 3hrs to transfer everything from old S24 Ultra to my phone. And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

I've been really enjoying the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra so far. As this is my first foldable phone, there has definitely been a bit of a learning curve, but it's been a positive experience overall. The larger inner screen is fantastic for browsing, reading emails, multitasking and watching videos. The foldable design took a little time to get used to, but it's quickly become second nature. Performance has been excellent, and the battery life is good, I can get a day and half with normal usage. Which is better than my old phone. Overall, I'm very impressed and would recommend it to anyone considering their first foldable phone.

​As a 4-year foldable user upgrading from the Z Fold 4, the Z Fold 8 Ultra is fantastic! The phone-to-tablet versatility, camera clarity, and using the cover screen to get my kids to actually look at the camera for group photos make it irreplaceable. Coming from the Z Fold 4, my biggest worry was the hinge. After about 2 years of use on my Z Fold 4, dust buildup cause it no longer unfold completely flat. The new Flex Titanium teardrop hinge design on the Fold 8 Ultra feels fundamentally sturdier, but time will be the real test. Given the price point and moving parts, Samsung really should include a specialized multi-year foldable hinge/display warranty out of the box instead of treating it like a standard phone. That said, as a long-time foldable user, I know I am going to enjoy my new Z fold 8 Ultra.

Having to be a Samsung user for over 2 decades, the AI features is surprisingly good. But in comparison with the previous One plus Open (years older) the samsung galaxy z ultra 8 is subpar for its camera quality and intuitiveness. The screen quality is also less. I have not tested its durability since I just got it for a few days. But the body durability and built seems soft. The battery also run out faster even on stand by. It heats up a bit when plugged. The hinge fold and crease is good. The performance is really good. The phone starts up fast.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is honestly an incredible piece of technology. The design feels premium, the displays are stunning, and the large inner screen makes everything from watching videos to multitasking and working feel completely different. The performance is super fast and smooth, the cameras take fantastic photos, and the battery life is impressive. I especially love how thin and elegant it feels while still giving you such a huge screen when unfolded. Samsung has really taken foldable phones to another level with this device. From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

As a fan of foldables the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra finally brings everything together. The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. If you already love foldables or have been waiting for one that feels “ready” for everyday life, the Z Fold 8 Ultra really does feel like that milestone device.

Overall I really love the look and how it is so lightweight just a normal phone. I like how big the screen is just downside sometimes the images and text get so big. In some apps the aspect ratio gets affected not the usual but I can get used to it.. Battery wise it also lasts long and how it's built, I can see the durability. Also love the new features in the camera and I can use 3 apps at a time.

I've just upgraded from the Pixel 9 Pro and was really on the fence about whether to stick with Pixel or switch to Samsung...not wishing I'd stuck with Pixel. The battery is disappointing, I haven't been using my phone excessively and the battery is going down much quicker than I'd expected, especially on a brand new phone. I specifically chose this phone for the camera as I thought it would be better than the Pixel but some of the photos I'm taking aren't very sharp and that's not from a distance at all so I definitely expected better quality. I love the big display and you can barely see any crease at all and it's so handy for multitasking but it's not enough for me to overlook the battery and camera.

The battery easily lasts a full day, the crease is now barely visible, and the hinge feels much smoother and more refined. Performance is incredibly fast, and despite the larger form factor, it feels surprisingly light compared to the Fold 6. Overall, it's a significant upgrade in terms of build quality, software, performance, and durability. It also feels much more natural and comfortable to hold. If you're coming from a Fold 6, the Fold 8 Ultra is absolutely worth the upgrade.

I absolutely love my Z Fold 8 Ultra. It has made managing work emails and reviewing spreadsheets so much easier. The 200MP camera is fantastic, and the 8K video quality is incredibly clear. The Genie AI features are also impressive and have quickly become one of my favorite aspects of the phone. The consensus this year is that the cheaper Fold 8 stole the show. I bought the Ultra anyway, and after a few weeks I'd do it again. At 4.1mm unfolded it's the thinnest foldable Samsung has made, and it no longer feels like a compromise device you carry for the novelty. The 8-inch inner display is genuinely the reason to own this thing — reading, email, side-by-side work, all of it stops feeling like a phone. The 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery finally lasts a full day without negotiation, which previous Folds never managed for me. The base Fold 8 is the smarter buy. The Ultra is the better phone.

I recently purchased this phone this week and love it. I've upgraded from the S24 ultra. It's super lightweight and thin so not bulky at all. Fits better in bag and pocket. Love the huge screen when it's open and also love how you can use it like normal with it closed and it's easy to hold. There is some new features on this device that is cool. Compared to my trusty S23 Ultra I'm loving the slightly smaller format but whow when you open it up it's a game changer. Fast,smooth and just a work of art and craftsmanship. Sometimes I feel it's a bit delicate compared to a single brick style but I guess I'm just getting used to it. Pick a good quality case as it does put your mind at rest on the protection front. Battery life seems s goods as my S23 even using it unfolded. The hinge is reassuringly positive on open and shutting, just remember if you rotate it while watching something you remember as trying to shut it the wrong way could damage it.

Received Green fold 8 ultra a week ago, I would like to highlight few annoying issues with the larger display 1. FB, Instagram and shorts videos are enlarged to full screen and optimized for better view. 2.Netflix and Prime videos are smaller than ultra s26 display which is disappointing 3. Front display is too small and it could be little bit bigger for easy usage on unfold times 4.Digital bill board images are too pixelating due to the sharpeness corrections 5. Not worthy for 3000k CAD 6. Performances are better and battery life is decent

I upgraded from a Z Fold 3 which I absolutely loved. The Z Fold 8 Ultra is is great so far. Larger screen, but much thinner, so less bulky. Extremely fast processing and fantastic camera. Am disappointed about the lack of S Pen compatibility and hope it will be reintroduced in a future release. Otherwise a great phone and happy with the purchase.

I wasn't sure whether a foldable phone was worth the extra cost, but after using the Galaxy Fold, I completely understand the appeal. The first few days were all about showing friends and family the folding screen, but after that, I started appreciating the little things. Reading articles is more comfortable, maps are easier to view, and watching videos during my commute is much more enjoyable. The build quality feels premium, and the phone has handled everything I've thrown at it without any issues. What surprised me most is how quickly the folding design became normal. Now, when I pick up a regular smartphone, it feels oddly limited. It's not just a different-looking phone; it's a genuinely different experience, and for me, that's what makes it special.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I noticed that the battery was a great improvement from my previous Samsung fold 6. the display is much nicer with less noticeable crease in the middle. the hinge feels very sturdy and when you're typing or flipping between apps or having multiple apps open, handles it very well with no lag.

I can play three videos at the same time and multitask easily. I can take a selfie using the back camera. I can take a video and not have to worry about staying still because it features a video stabilizer. Awesome phone so far. It looks slim and I look like I'm reading a book when unfolding it. Little do they know I'm just doom scrolling lol

I preordered this phone the day preorders opened, and my gosh I am happy that I did. The Z Fold 8 Ultra is so extremely thin that its just the size of a normal phone when folded, and unfolded becomes extremely easy to hold. Even with the thin body, Samsung did not skimp out on battery size or the processor speed. It has one of the longest battery lives I've had on a phone in a while. The anti reflective coating on the inner display makes it so easy to view in harsh outdoor lighting too. If you're on the edge of whether the ultra model is worth it, I'd say go for it.

I love the Fold 8 Ultra. Feels so premium. Its a big difference when upgraded from Fold 6. Such a productive device. Wish they had the s pen capabilities as well. Battery holds up pretty good. And love the new hing and display. Non reflective inner display is so good. New hinge gives you that confident on its durability. Fyi: phone may take couple days to look into the pattern of your lifestyle to analyse the battery usage,so the performance may be slow for that tine period. Once the analysis is completed, its super responsive and perform pretty. Super excited with this one.

I recently acquired the Fold 8 and subsequently purchased the Fold 8 Ultra for my daughter, who is thoroughly enjoying the device. My primary concern pertains to the absence of complimentary cases when procuring two high-value devices. Including this accessory would be a welcome gesture. Nevertheless, the user experience with this device is truly exceptional; the display's responsiveness and capabilities are outstanding. The enhanced durability of the hinge alleviates previous concerns regarding breakage, and the battery performance has shown significant improvement. Thank you.

This is my 3rd Z(ed) Fold and it is a MAJOR engineering advancement.It is so thin & light that you hardly feel it in your pocket (where mine lives most of the time).I am not a 'power' user so the battery well exceeds my daily needs and all tasks it undertakes are completed fast and are a joy to read on the screen. My only niggle is the camera housing spoils the lovely aesthetics of the device but I understand that and expect the Z Fold 9 will make it disappear :-)

I upgrade my foldable phone every year, and compared to last year's Fold 7, this year's Fold 8 Ultra doesn't feel like a significant upgrade overall. The only fan perk—the free memory upgrade for pre-orders—has been cancelled. The only bright spots are the increased battery life and faster charging, and this year's anti-reflective screen is excellent. The crease is also less noticeable than last year. Now that the phone has the "Ultra" name, I hope next year's model will see more improvements, otherwise, I'll lose the motivation to upgrade.

Traded in my s24 ultra for this a few weeks ago. It's a good phone. Still deciding on if the battery is any better lol. The phone is way lighter and easier to hold. And love the screen when it's unfolded. The crease is almost completely gone and easy to open. It's fast and responsive for everything.

Had this for about a week now, upgrading from the Fold 6 and previously Fold 4. All I can say is WOW! The feeling in your hands is unreal, it's so light and thin compared to my Fold 6. The biggest thing for me is the quality of the hinge compared to its predecessors. Locks into place without any sloppy feeling.

I couldn't be any happier with a phone like this, great camera great features screen is impeccable, using the full screen once unfolded is a no brainer, so multi functional the quality is great, best phone I have bought in a long time. Just brilliant.
