To keep the fresh air, you need to clean the air purifier filter frequently. See the filter details below and follow the instructions to clean your filters.

Overview of the filters

Samsung air purifier uses a multi-layered purification system comprising a pre-filter, deodorization filter, and HEPA filter.

  • Pre-filter (A): Pre-filter extracts large dust particles, such as pollen and pet hair.
  • Deodorization filter (B): It removes harmful gases such as carbon monoxide and unpleasant odors such as food and bathroom odors.
  • HEPA filter (C): The HEPA filter can capture up to 99.97% of 0.3㎛ sized dust like cigarette smoke particles.

Only the pre-filter is washable among these filters. The deodorization filter and HEPA filter are not washable, so you must replace them periodically.
