Rename the devices linked to SmartThings.
Having multiple smart devices of the same type may necessitate a name change for clarity. For instance, if you own smart bulbs in both your living room and kitchen, distinguishing between them is essential for accurate control. Luckily, the SmartThings app allows you to personalize the names of your smart devices.
Access the SmartThings app on your phone or tablet. If you can't find it on your Apps screen, check within the Samsung folder.
Tap the Home icon and choose the registered location of your device. Navigate to the Devices tab, then swipe left or right to locate the specific device you're looking for.
Select the relevant device, and then tap More options (symbolized by three vertical dots) in the upper right corner. Choose Edit, input the new name, and finally, save your changes by tapping the Save option when you're done.
