Why is my dryer doesn't dry my Clothes completely

Last Update date : 2022-06-13

It's happening from time to time that your laundry doesn't dry clothes completely if your clothing is still damped and it's not drying don't worry mostly this issue solve with simple troubleshooting steps, Here are some troubleshooting tips for you to follow.

Consider dryer capacity

Before you start, make sure you have not overloaded your dryer. If the dryer is overstuffed, the result may be damp clothing at the end of the cycle. It will be more difficult for the dryer’s heat to reach every piece of clothing if it is overloaded. Items need to tumble freely to dry. It is recommended to load the dryer to three-quarters of its capacity.

Also, it is best not to mix light clothing with heavier clothing. The dryer will stop once the light items are dry, while the heavier items will remain damp.

Extremely small loads may not be enough to brush against the sensor bars for the dryer to detect if wet laundry is still inside. Adding a few more items helps to keep the load balanced.

Be sure to keep the Lint filter clean. Check the Filter Alarm. It is recommended to clean the lint filter before every load.

  • Gently grab the top of the Lint filter and pull up.
  • Spread open the outer filters and remove the inner filter. Be careful not to use excessive force as this can damage the filters.
  • Remove the lint from both filters. If the filters have excessive dust, use a vacuum cleaner. Take extreme care not to damage the filters.
  • Clean the filters with the cleaning brush. Also, it is recommended to clean the filters with running water.
  • Place the filters in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight until they are completely dry.
  • When the filters are completely dry, replace the inner filter into the outer filter.
