How to Properly Shut Down a Galaxy Phone
With this new setup, there are other ways to power off your phone, like using two side keys at once or tapping the Power icon located in the Quick settings panel. Use these options to shut off your phone if it doesn't have a dedicated Power key.
Press and hold the Side key for a few seconds to turn on the device.
To restart the device, tap Restart.
Note: You can set the device to turn off when you press and hold the Side key. Open Settings, tap Advanced features → Side key, and then tap Power off menu under Press and hold.
