What is the Data Saver Feature?

Data Saver is a feature that helps reduce your mobile data usage by limiting background data usage for apps. This means apps won't use data unless you're actively using them, helping you save on your data plan. However, it may also delay notifications and updates until you open the app.
Turn on Data Saver
Data saver prevents some apps from sending or receiving data in the background. So rest assured, you're not wasting any precious data.

Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Connections.
