Why I cannot download some application in Playstore?

Last Update date : 2023-06-14

The applications available in Google Playstore can be available internationally or available locally only in one or selected countries.

google play

The Google ID registered in your Samsung device is set into one country upon ID creation. The Google Play country settings determine what content you will see in the store.

More details can be found here.

1 On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app .
2 At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3 Tap Settings > General > Account and device preferences > Country and profiles.
4 Tap the country where you want to add an account.
5 Follow the on-screen instructions to add a payment method for that country.

Note: Your profile can take up to 48 hours to update.

No. Country setting switching is only applicable once a year

1. Clear the device cache and data of the Playstore app.

2. Update the Google playstore app to the latest version

3. Delete or replace Payment profile

Any historical purchase in your Google ID will stay in the old country.

To use it, you need to return to old country settings but can only happen once a year.

1. Register a new Google ID in your Samsung phone and make it a primary Google ID.

The new Google ID country settings should be registered for the new country where the local app is registered.

Some issues may happen if you do this like your other installed apps will not work.

2. Use a different phone (newly purchased or newly formatted) and register normally with the Google ID set to the country where the local application is registered.
