Creating a Samsung account while setting up your Samsung TV

If you haven't set up a Samsung account yet, you'll be required to do so when initially configuring your TV. You can create an account using either a phone number or an email address. Please adhere to the straightforward and brief instructions provided.

Step 1.

After completing the network setup during the initial setup, you can set up your Samsung account by selecting Start Setup.

Step 2.

Scan the QR code on the TV with your phone’s camera.

If you're logged in to your Samsung account on your Galaxy phone, you can log in to your TV with the same account.

Note: You will need to log in to your Samsung account after setting up your network connection.

Step 3.

Tap Sign it in now when the pop-up window appears.

Step 4.

Tap Create account. Or, tap Sign in with Google to use a Google account instead.

To proceed with a Google account, select your desired Google account from the list.

If prompted, check the list of access requests. Then, swipe to and tap Allow.

Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to your account.

If you selected Create account, tap More.

Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Service, and Samsung account Privacy Notice. Tap Agree.

Step 9.

To create an account, simply provide your email address as your login account and then fill out the form. Then, tap Create account.

Step 10.

For added security, two-step verification is required. Non-Galaxy phone users will be able to complete this step later.

Enter your phone number and tap Send.

Enter the code sent to your phone via the text message.

Step 12.

Check your email inbox and select Verify account on the email that is sent.

Step 13.

Your Samsung account has been successfully created.

Tap Sign in to complete the process.

You have successfully logged in to the TV.

Next, you can register your credit card. You can also tap Later to stop at this point.

Please agree to the terms and conditions and complete the remaining settings according to the TV screen.

Once the settings are complete, you can use apps and smart features.
