How to update the software on your Samsung smart TV?
Your TV will occasionally get software upgrades to introduce new features or correct faults. It's critical to maintain your software updated regardless of the type of TV you own. Using a USB flash drive or the internet, you may update the software on your TV. Just be aware that your video and audio settings can be automatically reset to defaults following a software upgrade.
You can have software updates installed automatically while watching TV if the TV is connected to the internet. When the update is finished, it will be applied the next time you switch on the TV. In addition, when you agree to the Smart Hub Terms and Conditions during the first setup, Auto Update is immediately turned on.
Navigate to Settings > All Settings > Support > Software Update and then select Auto Update to turn it off or back on.
Note: For around two years, most TVs will receive upgrades with additional features. Updates are still possible, although they will typically be for resolving problems.
You should download software updates as soon as they become available to get the most out of your TV. Navigate to Settings > All Settings > Support > Software Update. Select Update Now. Your TV will download and set up fresh updates. Please wait until the update is finished before turning off the TV since updates often take a few minutes. The television will automatically restart when the update is complete. Choose OK to leave if there aren't any fresh changes.
If your TV is not connected to the Internet, it is a good idea to update your TV via a USB drive. For this, you will need a USB drive and a PC with an Internet connection. Try the following steps.
