what is TFT-LCD?
An LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is a device that displays information by adjusting the state of liquid crystal. Originally, Liquid Crystals were discovered through a unique characteristic in which state was changed upon temperature changes. Today, LCDs use liquid crystal's characteristic of changing state when electric fields are generated by electricity. LCDs work by arranging electrodes into a shape of numbers or letters under liquid crystal. When electrified, an array of liquid crystal changes into the shape of numbers or letters and bEcomes different colors.
LCDs display the desired color and image through the transmittance and control of electricity. The liquid crystal controls the light's permeability using different molecular structures that vary in accordance with the voltage. LCDs consist of two polarizers with the liquid crystal between them. The liquid crystal is twisted at an angle of 90 degrees from top to bottom. If electricity is sent to the liquid crystal, the liquid crystal in each layer is lined up in the same direction. The light from the lower polarizer can pass through the upper polarizer, followed by the liquid crystal layer. In this way, we can see the image that is delivered by the light.
