What does Dual Camera mean?

What does Dual Camera mean?

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 comes with dual cameras on the rear of the device. There is a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens, with both these cameras having 12 megapixel sensors.

As a result of these dual cameras, the Note8 is capable of 2x optical zoom. There is also a dual pixel sensor meaning that low light photos can now be taken in much higher quality.

Optical image stabilisation is available in both cameras.

Live Focus mode has also been improved as a result of having dual cameras, and is now available in real time when taking a photo.
