What is Panorama mode and how do I use it?

PLEASE NOTE: icons and screens may differ slightly from the illustrations below depending on your device, operating system and theme.

Panorama mode allows you to capture more of the scene by combining images to create a panoramic photo.

To use Panorama mode, you will need to:

1 From the home screen, choose Apps or swipe up to access your apps

2 Choose Camera
Tap camera
3 Choose Panorama

Depending on your device, choose Mode or swipe across the screen to select panorama mode.

5 Press the capture button to start taking your photo

The screen will show an alignment box to help you keep the scene aligned.

6 Slowly move the device in one direction

7 When you touch the stop button or you reach the maximum range your device will make the necessary adjustments and stitch the images together to form one complete panoramic photo

PLEASE NOTE: that this feature isn't available on all devices and operating systems.

Motion Panorama lets you take videos in the Panorama format. Still panorama shots are reconstructed from the clearest frames of the motion version. To see the full breadth of the video or images, you can swipe the screen or pan your phone sideways.

2 Choose Camera

3 Choose Panorama

Depending on your device, choose MODE or swipe across the screen to select Panorama mode.

5 Press the capture button to start taking your photo

6 Slowly move the device in one direction. If completed, tap the stop icon to stop taking photos.

8 Choose the motion icon or View as Motion picture
Tap View as Motion Panorama
9 To save the motion panorama, choose Save video or Save as new
