    I bought a samsung BD- F8900M smart blu-ray player yesterday and after having used the remote control to play a blu-ray and operate my LG tv perfectly well for a good number of hours even installing some new apps, it now won't operate any tv functions on the remote but will operate the blu-ray player fine. I can't even access the settings to reset anything. I have taken the batteries out and held down the button for six minutes as advised to no avail and checked with a camera to see if the sensor in the remote control is working ok, a purple light was seen so that seems fine. I've tried unplugging everything and waiting a few minutes to see if it would reset itself. I don't know what else to try. Immediately before the remote control stopped working I was toggling between my LG tv remote and the Samsung remote quite abit, don't know whether this caused something to happen to it. Also wondered if I'd pressed something that's stopped it working, as it was new I was just playing around with some of the functions. Would be grateful if someone could help me get my remote control working again.

Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the third party developer to ensure their applications are compatible with our devices. We recommend contacting the developer of this app to ensure that it is compatible with your device and its current version of firmware.     Hi, Ensure that the disc is installed with the label side facing up. Check the region number of the Blu ray/DVD disc.
