How to use Art Mode on The Frame TV

Art Mode on The Frame turns your TV into a work of art when you’re not watching it. The Frame comes with a wide variety of different artworks, while the Art Store lets you purchase additional artwork from world-renowned museums and galleries.

Please note:

  • Additional artwork is purchased as part of a subscription service. This service can be cancelled at any time
  • Available artwork is subject to change

The way to use Art Mode will depend on the year and model of your The Frame TV. Read on to find out more.

1 Select the Home button
2 Select General and Eco settings

a.      Set Ambient Light Detection to off

b.      Set Power Saving Mode to off

c.      Set Motion Lighting to off

d.      Set Auto Power Off to off

3 In the menu on the lefthand side, select Art Mode
4 On the righthand side of the Art Mode screen, scroll to the bottom
5 Here you can choose settings such as Motion Detection, Sleep After, and Night Mode

1 Select the Home button
2 Select General and Eco settings

a.      Set Ambient Light Detection to off

b.      Set Power Saving Mode to off

c.      Set Motion Lighting to off

d.      Set Auto Power Off to off

3 In the menu on the lefthand side, select Art Mode
4 On the righthand side of the Art Mode screen, scroll to the bottom
5 Here you can choose settings such as Motion Detection, Sleep After, and Night Mode

3 Enter Art Mode
4 Move the cursor to settings
5 Set Sleep After to 5 minutes
6 Set Motion detection to High
7 Set Night Mode to Off

2 Select Settings
3 Select General and Eco settings

a.      Set Ambient Light Detection to off

b.      Set Power Saving Mode to off

c.      Set Motion Lighting to off

d.      Set Auto Power Off to off

4 Enter Art Mode
5 Move the cursor to settings
6 Set Sleep After to 5 minutes
7 Set Motion detection to High
8 Set Night Mode to Off

The 32-inch The Frame has no motion detection. This means that Art Mode is on by default. However, you can change the following settings:

  • Brightness: Control how bright the display is in Art Mode
  • Sleep After: Decide how long before The Frame automatically switches off. You have the following options:
    • Off – Art Mode will always be on
    • 5 min
    • 15 min
    • 30 min
    • 1 hour
    • 2 hours
    • 4 hours
  • Night Mode: The Frame will automatically turn off when no light is detected in the room

Sleep After allows you to choose how long Art Mode will stay on if no activity is detected. You can choose from:

  • Off – Art Mode is always on
  • 5 minutes
  • 15 minutes
  • 30 minutes
  • 1 hour
  • 2 hours
  • 4 hours

Night Mode means The Frame will automatically turn off when no ambient lighting is detected.
