Does Dolby Atmos require an internet connection?Dolby Atmos works via HDMI eArc connection on your Samsung TV. All 2023 Samsung TV’s (apart from the 32” The Frame) offers HDMI eArc. If you want to experience Wireless Dolby Atmos then you will need a Wi-Fi connection.

How do I use Dolby Atmos/How do I get Dolby Atmos to work on my Samsung device?First find a Movie, box-set or music track that has a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. These are readily available on most streaming services. Then as long as you have a Dolby Atmos enabled TV or Soundbar (connected via HDMI or Wi-Fi) you can experience the superior sound quality that Dolby Atmos delivers.

Do you get the same Dolby Atmos experience on all devices?Although Dolby Atmos gets the best out of each device there are benefits of having more speakers, especially up-firing ones. The more speakers you have, the more precise you can hear 3D sound effects. By having dedicated up-firing speakers in the TV or soundbar this can really lift the sound experience recreating that cinematic feeling in your own home.
