1. Treasury Shareholdings
- From December 2 to 30, 2005, the number of treasury shares for common stock declined by 197,887 shares from 16,876,927 to 16,679,040 due to stock option exercise.
2. Samsung Life
- From December 2 to 30, 2005, Samsung Life decreased its shareholdings in Samsung Electronics by 70 shares from 10,689,451 to 10,689,381 on a common share basis by selling the stock on the open market.
3. Samsung Securities
- From December 2 to 30, 2005, Samsung Securities increased its shareholdings in Samsung Electronics by 2 common shares and 1 preferred shares to 4 common shares and 2 preferred shares.
4. Yun Jong-yong
- Vice chairman & CEO Yun Jong-yong exercised his stock options on December 8 and 19, 2005, increasing his shareholdings in Samsung Electronics by 40,000 shares.
Thereafter, he sold 27,293 shares on the open market for the period from December 8 to 22, 2005. As of the end of 2005, his shareholdings are 26,300 shares on a common share basis.
