Multi split air conditioning systems connect a single outdoor unit with up to five multi split indoor units. This makes it easier to control the climate in multi-storey residences, where outdoor space may be limited. It also allows for multi-zone interior spaces to be cooled separately by zone, such as a large, open-plan apartment.
