World’s lightest flip
Weighing 8 grams less than Galaxy Z Flip7, our thinnest and lightest Flip is more comfortable in your pocket.1
Smooth Unfolding
Built with a smoother Armor FlexHinge and a widened gap of the inner bezel for effortless opening.
Lasting Durability
Encased in Armor Aluminum and fitted with Corning® Gorilla® Glass on the cover screen, this Flip is engineered to last.2
Solo or squad. Hands-free
For the everyday photographer, Galaxy Z Flip8's 50 MP camera lets you frame what feels right in the moment, and every shot is just how you saw it. FlexCam lets you go hands-free, picking up the details that actually matter — true skin tone and real texture. Switch up your POVs as you go.
Flip into FlexMode and activate Auto Zoom to get everyone in the shot, change to a camcorder grip for videos or use Dual Preview so others can see themselves as you shoot. Switch to portrait mode and the rear cameras work together to create an effect called stereo bokeh. Powered by AI that's been trained on DSLR imagery, it adds natural depth while keeping the subject as it should be.3
Super steady even on the run
If you're a vlogger that enjoys creating POV content, make moments feel more valuable with Super Steady's Horizontal Lock. It automatically detects the horizon to keep your frame level, even if your camera rotates a full 360°. Use camcorder grip for added stability when shooting others or use the FlexCam preview when shooting selfies, and lock in steadier footage every time.4
POV: your Flip is more than just a phone
Flip Shot
Now you can take mirror selfies with an added part of you. Use Flip Shot to customize your cover screen background with your favorite pictures, drawings or even write a message to express yourself while snapping.
Dual Recording
Create dynamic content that shows different perspectives at once. Activate a split view that can appear on both FlexWindow and on the main screen, so you and your subject can preview the video at the same time for perfectly synced shots. Then, share without editing so reliving the moment is just as easy as capturing it.

Congratulations on your upgrade to the Z Flip8. We're glad you are enjoying the compact form factor and the more powerful processor, the Galaxy-customised Exynos 2600. Whilst the battery is 4300 mAh, it's an all-new silicon-carbon dual-cell battery and is heavily supported and enhanced by both the processor and Galaxy AI. We're sorry to hear that your phone is getting hot while using Android Auto on long journeys. Whilst Android Auto uses multiple heavy tasks simultaneously, we recommend moving the phone away from direct sunlight and using an A/C vent clip mount rather than a windscreen mount. When mounted to the vents, your car's A/C will cool the phone and allow it to operate correctly in the hot summer sun. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our helpful Support Teams for further assistance, and you can find our contact details and opening times here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/ ^EW at Samsung Support
