President of Jordan University, Dr. Nathir Obeidat, expressed his pleasure to be hosting the new showroom, describing it as a valuable addition to university life. He emphasized that collaboration with a leading global company such as Samsung Electronics enriches the student experience and empowers their academic journey with cutting-edge technology.

The opening aligns with Samsung Electronics Levant’s “Technology Innovation” initiative, reflecting the company’s broader strategy of partnering with Jordanian academic institutions, which seeks to provide Jordanian students with access to the advanced technologies, enhance their future skills, and bridge the gap between academic study and market needs.
Serving as an interactive learning and experimentation hub, the new showroom offers University of Jordan students’ hands-on access to Samsung’s latest smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart displays, healthcare devices, and smart home appliances. In addition, the space provides exclusive offers and purchasing options, giving students greater opportunities for creativity, productivity, and enriched experiences.
The launch event was attended by Brian Cha, EVP of Samsung Electronics MENA, alongside JU faculty members and Samsung employees.
It is worth noting that Samsung Electronics Levant and the University of Jordan signed memorandum of understanding earlier this year to reinforce practical technical education and connect classroom learning with real-world application. The MoU includes developing the Samsung Lab at the King Abdullah II College of Information Technology, co-organizing workshops and joint initiatives, and extending discount programs and exclusive offers to students.
