I was skeptical about which phone will I choose this time and it was tough because I was thinking about switching to iPhone but after looking at the bright colors of the screen, the refresh ratio on the screen, the loud speakers and the new hidden camera under the main display I said to myself why pay for something that's been in the marked for a long time and the call it innovative, same phone that everyone has. About the line on the main screen you don't even realize it and if you take care of it (free of sand & water) it looks like a brand new phone every day. Samsung and Android give you the freedom of choose the best service provider for you, you can personalize every aspect of your phone, the front screen works amazing when I'm only using it to reply a message, make calls. The size of it is great, fits on my pants, car cup holder, laptop bag, it has fast wireless charge that made it so convenient to just lay it down and forget about cords. The cameras are awesome, I can still take night pictures and they look nice as my previous note 20 ultra. And when I use it for work it literally becomes a laptop, tablet. I am able to show my costumer real pictures, specifications and the whole catalog of what we have instead a tiny picture and having the dreaming of it. I feel guilty that once I thought about switching to iphone. I get compliments every time I take it out in front of others. And for fun watching movies on your free time and be able to game on it with the xbox app is a phone that will take you from your ordinary day to another galaxy... Why live on 2022 when you can live on 2050!

I no longer feel the weight of the phone, feels great to use with single or both hands. The double screen serves its purpose, the stylus is smooth. Camera is exceptional. Speakers could have been better and louder for a phone of this quality.

Multitasking is easy to do thanks to one UI, 4 apps at once would be great but I'm sure that's a very niche case. The crease is pretty much unnoticeable except for when the screen is off or at extreme angles. The not so great: The narrow screen makes it easy for one hand use when closed, but really hard to type on when trying to bust out a quick text response and you don't want to use swipe typing. I wish Samsung had gone with a more traditional phone size when closed, and I think the unfolded size would have been fine. The inner screen is also a bit of a lint magnet.

Man I wish I would've switched sooner. I will never go back to iPhone again. Everything about this phone is literally amazing . Love the ability to multi task with different apps open at once. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the z fold 4 512 GB model on launch day. Coming from the Note 20 Ultra, my expectations were high!! It took me a while to get use to this new technology, but now I can't get enough. When ever I unfold the device it's an amazing feeling. People around always are curious and looking at it lol. I'm happy with my purchase, got a good deal by trading in the Note 20 Ultra. Again, very happy with my z fold 4.

I bought this Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 by trading in my S22 Ultra and looks pretty good so far. The screen looks sharp and unfolding the phone it's easy. I had to buy the s-pen which was a down for me because the S22 has one built in. I had to buy a special cover for the s-pen which doesn't keep the s-pen in place to good and adds bulk to the phone. Battery life is OK but, not great. Improvements I would make to make this phone perfect would be; First, integrate the pen to the phone like the S22 Ultra. Second, increase battery capacity and screen to 8". It's hard to see on that small screen when the phone is closed up. Third, get rid of the crease. I'm sure you can something on the inside of the hinge to flatten the crease. Lastly, I don't like watching movies when in full screen because the picture gets stretched to fit the screen and actor's heads are cutoff. Other than that, the phone looks pretty good and happy with it.

I loved this phone! Key word though. Loved. At first this phone was a great thing. After almost a year, it started to show its flaws. The battery life on it at first was manageable. Now I have to charge it almost midway through my day and this is with low to moderate use. Also, the phone will not open all the way. Where it used to open a full 180 degrees its about a 175 degree angle. Never dropped mind you at this point. However recently I just dropped it. I have two black splotches on the screen that are VERY noticeable along the crease of the inner screen. Small but noticeable. Coming from the lower splotch a row of pixels will turn green as well. A line of pixels in the crease are dying/fading too. The fragileness of this phone is way too high. A single drop and this happens? I will be getting rid of this phone as soon as possible and staying away from the "Fold" series and possibly Samsung phones entirely due to the running around I have to do just to ask how I get my screen replaced with "Samsung Care+".

I got my phone in August. It has been great until 2 weeks ago. While waiting for lunch I unfolded it and it made a crunching noise. A line appeared down the center of the screen. I can still use the screen with the s-pen but the black line is growing.

I absolutely LOVE the concept of this phone. I had the Z Fold 2 and had no problems at all so I decided to upgrade to the Z Fold 4. After a few months my phone will not open all the way. I am very disappointed in this.

I love everything about this phone especially the split screen abilities, the amazing camera and the quality of photos it produces, and the accessories available. It has had a few glitches but they were quickly rectified with a re-boot and a recent software upgrade. On the negative, it aldidn't come with pre-applied screen protectors so this was an additional cost. I love how everyone who sees me using it has to ask me about it, they are in awe of this phone. It's just like having a mini Samsung tablet in your handbag. I love it and will never go back to an ordinary smart phone.

I ordered it instantly. I love everything about this phone so far. I use the S pen on Samsung notes for work every day. Having come from the note series to the fold 4 and it's it's extra real estate to work with is just simply amazing . Then when I'm home or at a place where I'm relaxing I open the fold and enjoy the beautiful extra large screen . Now it's time to run!! Note: I have had this phone for a few months but only recently started using it. Therefore, I am still learning/changing/setting up the features. So far: Pro: I love this phone. I really like that I can use it in the closed position and then open a larger screen if I want. Con: I am not happy with the Samsung software as far as voice texting. I was just notified through the phone that I "was using Samsung" for that feature. I didn't know. However, it sucked! Everything I talked in the phone was messed up. I had to correct and then re-correct as it changed my corrections. I now switched to Google - which hopefully, is smarter.

At first I was disappointed because the unfolded screen was smaller than my old phone, but then I opened it up and discovered the big beautiful screen on the inside. The colors are brilliant and the screen is very responsive. I came from a note 20 ultra so I am accustomed to a larger screen, but this z fold is fantastic. The finger print access is super fast and easy to use. I got the S pen option, and glad I did. I don't use it every day, but when filling out forms or drawing on the screen it works extremely well. The camera is also very good. My friends love the pictures I take.

I chose to believe that the price point is an R&D cost above the standard flagship pricing but with that being said it's not cheap. There are Samsung laptops that are less expensive than this device so it's not for everyone. That being said that device is sleek, lightweight and beautifully designed. It still isn't dust resistant which can propose a problem for you beach goers but all in all the device is growing up quite nicely and I'd buy it again!

My biggest issue prior, was battery life, thickness, and the cameras. The cameras were not the worst, but not of premium status either. Now I can truly say they are great, even in low light. I do not worry about battery life at all. Samsung keeps impressing me when it comes to the evolution of the Fold. It truly is a great device for entertainment as well as work if you choose. I know this device is fairly new, but I am excited to see where Samsung can take us on the Fold5. Keep up the great work Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone after upgrading from the z fold 3. The z fold 3 was a great phone but the battery life was terrible and drained so fast. The z fold 4 has significantly better battery life. The features on this phone is great such as multitasking, using the phone with one hand, watching videos on a tablet-like screen. However, like many people, i think it is important to keep in mind that while many apps are being updated to fit with the form factor of the z fold, there are still a majority of apps that aren't designed to work with the fold's weird form factor so some apps might have an abnormal aspect ratio to the screen.

I'm very disappointed, because 1. the battery is no lasting. I need to full charge 2-3 times a day. I've been used most time only the small screen. I don't understand, It's a new phone !! 2. the big screen's photo and resolution are very bad and quite fragile. I've dreamed a big big screen smartphone. Fold has a big screen but after use 2 days I prefer return to a standard smartphone. 3. When the phone is opened in big screen size, you can't hold it well without touches the screen. When you touched the screen, it's sent a click. Oh !! And when the big screen is opened, I must hold it with 2 hands otherwise it can fall down very easily. Too many hassles...

I bought this Fold 4 512 mb version a little over three (3) months, getting a swell deal from my carrier, and I really like it because of it's features and functionality. As a real estate broker for over thirty (33) years, I represent the 2nd largest mortgage investor in the nation working a seven (7) county areav. I'm a road warrior in my mobile office with a Wilson WeBoost, and Fold 4 took the place of a 13" laptop on a full size AutoExec Seat Desk with extendable arm. By adding an iClever Bluetooth folding keyboard and trading out to an AutoExec Wheelmate with 7" tablet holder, I not only got my passenger seat back but the internal antennas have way better Wifi and Bluetooth connections than my Moto 5G Stylus G and find it's more productive than BlackBerry was.

I went to see the surface duo 2 but it wasn't in, so I checked out the Zfold4. OMG, 3 phones in 1, awesome. The only down side is the front phone is a little too narrow but upside, you can just open it to have a nice size screen or split the large screen and it becomes my dual screen, perfect for multitasking. Not keen on the included sound options for ring tone or notification but easily fixed by using my own. Overall it's a lot of fun and videos are so much better on the larger screen.

It has been a more than worthwhile purchase. The slight changes in the chassis dimensions along with the refined hinge have made a great phone even better. The camera is improved and even the UI works smoother. I have no issues with apps working on the larger screen and enjoy every minute using my phone at work and at home. I especially appreciate the continued ability to use the stylus. I use it multiple time a day while working and just for fun. It's a great feature that remains very useful and productive.

I bought this phone for about a month ago and it has been an awesome experience. I will admit I am not a Samsung fan but I am rapidly becoming one. I will never go back to the dark side ( apple), and I came from a Google pixel 6 pro. Granted that phone was buggy when it first came out and when I got this I really wanted to get the 7 pro. But I guess from what I understand the seven pro isn't that much different than the 6 pro was so I think I'm going to stay with my Samsung Galaxy fold 512. I am getting used to this phone and I got to watch and the earbuds so I think I'm going to keep this for a while see how I like it. Thank you Samsung you guys are a Blessing.

Upgraded from the my Note 10+ a week ago. So far everythings perfect. Saw alot of people complaining about the smaller outer screen and the trouble they had texting on it. Personally i have had no issues with the smaller keyboard, works just fine. I am curious though why the fold 4 isnt getting any security updates. The last security patch update was july 1st. Other than that the phone runs smoothly, performance much better than i expected. Battery timming is okish, not too disappointing. Cameras are good but should have been better considering i payed top dollar for the phone. Overall i am very satisfied with the phone.

It is great for Multitasking. Even better for watching videos! My issues are that it is difficult to text or even just type. When closed, the keyboard is too small. My typing is all over the place. Then unfolded the keyboard is too big lol. It is one extreme or the other. I also don't like that when an ap is loading there is a loading icon but it doesn't rotate. It is just there. Which at times makes me wonder if the app is actually loading lol. Other than that everything else is better than expected!

I absolutely love this phone, and can never see myself going back to a standard screen size device. The ability to run 2-3 apps on the same screen of a mobile device is a game changer. Unfortunately I can only give 3 out of 5 stars because of the Bluetooth issues regarding the most recent Samsung OneUI 5.0 / Android 13 update. Before the update Bluetooth wearables and earbuds connected without issue, But since the update my ZFold 4 and my daughters Flip 4 no longer connect to our FitBit smartwatches. Hopefully this gets resolved via a software update, as it only seems to be a problem with the folding Samsung devices.

To be fair, the phone features, performance etc were spot on, until the screen split down the middle and rendered the phone useless when unfolded. I was under the impression that was an issue with the previous version and was spruiked as being fixed with this one. Obviously this isn't the case. Mine is still away getting repaired, but I have little faith this will be the last time. My honest opinion would be to save your money. Buy a single screen phone, or maybe wait until Samsung can attest to having a break free screen. Certainly not value for money at this time.

It does everything that my tablet does and more. I have great pics. I am on a half dozen Social sites with zero difficulties. Waze, Google maps, etc. with this it is so much better and easier, to follow directions. I watch movies and use it for games. The open screen is everything I hoped it would be for gaming. I don't notice the Fold in the middle when it is open, never really did. Had a Samsung Galaxy Z3 Fold for 1-2 yrs. I can't wait to see what Samsung comes up with next.

Snappy performance combined with resolution management is a big reason why. The pen was an added bonus I received and I remember why I loved the Note so much. So feature rich you could spends days customizing the ZF4 if you want. It's the little things, like palette selection menu when changing background, that makes this phone so much more enjoyable. Everything just seems to be in the right place.

Large screen, stylus, productivity features has always been the greatest upsides of the Note series, a very high bar indeed. Initially was skeptical of what the Fold has to offer, but dived into it with the Fold 4 and all i can say is ive been blown away. It surely jumped the productivity scale by leaps and bounds. From multitasking screens and its hefty CPU capabilities to its large fold out screen, its an awesome phone, that is definitely on a class of its own. No looking back for me now .

I actually purchased this phone for its productivity and it has proved to be better than my expectations. Things I like: 1. The ability to use the front screenmeans not having to open the phone, especially when on the run. It makes typing easy and is easy to hold. 2. The double screen means I can have 2 or 3 tabs open at the same time. I can copy and paste, transfer links and easily access the internet. It is so easy to work on. 3. Easy transferability of content into Microsoft word documents. I love this phone and have told everyone!

Great idea but execution is still a work in progress. Camera zoom is much worse than S21Ultra. Thickness, weight and battery life are huge negatives on Fold 4 which was really disappointing coming from an older Galaxy device. Large screen when open is great to use but battery runs out very quickly with any type of use. Phone sound and speaker are very good overall. T-Mobile definitely performs better than att or Verizon versions in tes of data speeds and connection quality

I wish they brought back the SD CARD. Especially for my fold for my PDF and video slides. I dont like the cloud or limited storage. I went from a Note 20 Ultra and I had a 1TB SD CARD on top of the 512gb.. and well the S22 Ultra i had to get a 1TB and not a fan of the price. But this fold is highly concentrated on that and movies to stream. Perfect phone.

The crease, while still there, is less prominent than that of the fold 3. I think it it still needs to be a bit wider when the phone is folded. Battery life, from my day to day usage is about the same as it was when I had the fold 3. I would have to make sure that I carry a charger and cable on me or a portable charger for my more intense usage days. For my lighter days. I would finish the day with about 10 -15 percent. With the cost if this phone, I would like to see the S22 ultra camera system in the fold 5.

Content is very enjoyable due to the large screen size from shows to books its definitely a win. The front display is a plus because you can use it as a regular phone, you can message, pay with samungpay, calls, do quick things without opening it, and Selfies. And speaking of if you want some banger Selfies open it up and flip it over and you can use the 50mp camera , telephoto, or ultra wide as a Selfie camera, or use the front display as a view port for your subject to see what you see when taking photos. This phone has so many cool features its hard to talk about ever one of them. It's a 11/10 for me.

I have had this device for a week, so many things that make it better than a single screen device, well done Samsung. The 4 main things I have relied on with my Samsung devices since the S3 came out , CAMERA, COMMUNICATION, ALARM CLOCK and DURABILITY. Samsung has excelled at these for well more than a decade. Can we please get more choice with the AOD clock, the one on the Z fold 4 front screen is so small I cant read it when I'm blurry eyed from sleep, also you took away the option of RED numbers back around the S7, red is easy to focus on in the dark and doesn't effect your night vision. After reading reviews and receiving an offer I decided to get Galaxy Z Fold 4. I have been using it for almost a month and so far so good. Camera is great. I took several night shoots, they are good. I took a selfie with zero light. I am happy with the result. Another thing is battery life. I am happy with it. Foldable screen is bigger than phone and smaller than tablet, perfect for messaging, video and particularly reading books. Last but not least I was attracted with offers and trade ins. I wouldn't buy it unless attractive offers and competitive prices.

I use the open screen to watch videos, write emails and edit photos. It's great when you can split screen with the large screen. I can have Spotify open and my maps open in split screen and it's the perfect combination. You can save this combination. For easy access. The front screen is still perfect for everything else. Great photos and I have 500gb so ill never run out of space. The phone battery lasts all day. The speaker is fantastic for movies, music and phone calls.

Although the product wasnt delivered at my door step as promised and the customer serive people keep apologising to me while not solving my problem. So i had to go to Courier service office with money to get the phone. Apart from all these trouble, the phone is absolutely charm. Also it's a huge screen for Google maps when I'm driving so I feel like I have one of those Tesla screens in my old 2004 car lol no need to buy a new car. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Pre-ordered the Fold 4 after I watched the unpacked event. The upgrades seemed to be pretty good and they were. The camera upgrade is nice over the Fold 3 even though I would have liked to have the s22 ultra camera system on here instead. The refresh rate is vastly improved with it being on par with the ultra. The more efficient and powerful 8+ gen 1 chip and improved cooling solution is a vast improvement over the Fold 3 which heated up so much.

My only complaint is the case that I have, being an official Samsung case it doesn't seem to stay on the phone's front screen and I find myself pulling it off frequently, however, this isn't a review for the case. Samsung Dex runs perfectly and even works on some monitors that my old phone said it didn't support. Was a great purchase for me and fits in with my lifestyle well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been eyeballing these phones since launch and could not decide to wait or pull the proverbial trigger, trigger pulled. Form factor closed takes getting used to, very cramped and just needs to be a touch wider. No S-pen support on the cover display is a huge miss also. The screen brightness, crispness and responsiveness is top notch. The magic is when the phone is opened up and boy is it amazing. The hidden camera just needs to be gone and be a hole punchout, degrades camera quality to much. The cameras as good as they are should be more in line or better then what is on the main galaxy line, if Xiaomi and Honor (inferior Chinese phones) can put a periscope camera you get the idea.

First impression was "what took so long"? This device is perfect for reviewing construction plans, the camera is able to capture great detail for verifying specs and other data. At first found a few apps saying incompatible, but have noticed in recent days some are working. The battery last for days. Fast charging is a plus. For size and weight not bad to carry in pocket. The fingerprint scanner being on the same button as the activation button is frustrating, shuts screen off. Then need to enter pin again. Also, Samsung should offer cases, and accessories when delivering new models. The power plug should of been placed in top, so device could sit in cup holder. Overall, Thumbs up!

I immediately fell in love with the style and feel of this device it has brought so much ease to my life. The camera has been the most fun to use aside from opening it and experiencing the power of this phone. It has been fun using this phone... I will not have a different phone model... the z fold series is my new obsession.

The multitasking features are unmatched and the display is one of a kind. Samsung truly makes the most beautiful displays. This phone is filled with two amazing displays that do great in immersing you in the content that you are viewing. The only thing that I wish this phone had more of is apps that are well optimized for the big screen
