All you need to know about the Galaxy Note 7

The long-awaited for Galaxy Note 7 has finally arrived!
It's now time to reveal the new Note 7 features everyone has been waiting for.
From the new camera to the iris scanner, here is all you need to know about the Galaxy Note 7.
The Galaxy Note 7 will include touch focus, face and smile detection, auto HDR and geo tagging. Already present in the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and S7, the Galaxy Note 7 will feature the phase detection autofocus feature allowing you to capture different images and compiling them together to create the perfect image.
The Galaxy Note 7 will also boast a 5-megapixel front camera with auto HDR.
The Galaxy Note 7 will feature a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 2560x1440, and a pixel density of 518 ppi.
The Galaxy Note 7 is confirmed to come with Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass casing, which is said to survive up to 80% of drops from a shoulder height. This protection ensures that the curved display of the Note 7 will be less prone to shattering if dropped.
The Note 7 also includes a IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
The Galaxy Note 7 will feature a microSD slot, ensuring an extra storage up to 265 GB. The device is the first Samsung smartphone to feature 4GB of RAM, and its first model will be equipped with 64 GB internal storage, and another model featuring 128GB storage.
The Galaxy Note 7 will feature a 3,500 mAh battery, a huge power boost from the Note 5 and its 3,000 mAh. A USB Type-C port will be used on the device.
The Galaxy Note 7 will be available in the first stage in Black Onyx and Silver Titanium.
The Galaxy Note 7 will add some features to the standard S-Pen features such as Action memo, Screen write and Smart select. The three new features will be Glance, Dictionary, Speaking, Oil Brush and GIF creation.
The Galaxy Note 7 is the first Samsung smartphone to feature the iris scanner camera module. Located on the device's front, the iris scanner will capture the user's eye and analyse the iris to unlock the device, making the device extra secure.
The Secure Folder function will allow you to keep documents, photos and apps private, acting as a safe for all information you would like to keep for yourself.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be available from August 6th 2016 in markets.
