Updating your monitor’s software can prevent potential screen issues and will ensure the device runs smoothly. You can use the instructions in this guide to update your gaming monitor’s software to the latest version using a USB device.
Note: For Wi-Fi-enabled models, software updates can be performed automatically when the network is connected.
To update your Samsung Gaming Monitor using a USB device, please follow the instructions below:
Note: Please format your USB device to FAT32 before downloading the file.
Note: Do not rename the file once it has been downloaded. For smart Gaming Monitors, save the unzipped folder to the top level folder of your USB device. Be careful not to duplicate the same folder.
Note: The terminals on your monitor may vary depending on the model. For example, depending on the model, you may need to use a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
Note: The appearance and location of the Jog button and Menu may vary by model.
Note: Do not operate or power off the monitor until the update is complete.
Notes:
- If the update fails, the monitor will automatically retry the update.
- Video and audio settings may be reset to their defaults after the software update.
